Big Brother Canada 7 - Damien Ketlo Exit Interview

You made it clear in the diary room that you wanted Mark to go over Este. Why do you think that the others wanted to keep him?
Damien: Obviously the guys had something going that I was not a part of. I will have to square that up when I meet Este later in the jury house.
Had you won HoH during the double, who would you have nominated?Damien: I would have nominated Kyra and Anthony. Kyra is obviously an easy person to put up. Anthony can take his resume off of not being on the block ever. Anthony would have won that PoV and taken himself down, then I could have made a big move by putting Adam up.
When Dane put you on the block, what were you thinking?
Damien: I was so surprised. I thought he had my back. The guys had something going on that didn’t involve me.
The guys had talked to you about getting to the Final 5 together. Why do you think that they voted you out?
Damien: I’m not too sure. It’s probably because I didn’t want Mark in the house, and they saw that as a breach of trust, and probably because taking Kyra to Final 2 is a vote that can definitely go their way for the $100,000.
Who were you wanting to get to the Final 2 with, and why?
Damien: I would want to go to the Final 2 with Anthony, cause he is the one that hasn’t won the most things. Hopefully by that time I would have more of a resume built up.
On night one, you were voted in to the secret room. You saw Adam and Dane discuss working together, and Adam saying that they should get a four person guy alliance going. Do you feel like you used that information to your advantage as well as you could have?
Damien: Yeah, I thought I did. At the end of the day, I guess Mark slipped in there. I thought the guys alliance was real. I thought the boys had my back but I guess they didn’t.
Who is most likely to get your jury vote right now?
Damien: Adam or Dane, just cause they have the most resume built that I know of.
Is there anyone that has no shot at getting your jury vote?
Damien: Kyra. Everyone kind of sees them as a number. They went from Chelsea to Sam to Adam. People have talked about that in the house. They kind of just don’t really think for themselves.
Who do you think is playing the best game right now, and why?
Damien: I think Adam is playing the best game because he has been a target since Day 1 and he is still in the house. Since Sam left, he obviously adapted and made that guy alliance stronger.
Even though you didn’t win the game, are you happy with what you were able to accomplish?
Damien: Yes. Obviously it hurts a little to be out, but I am also happy cause I was the first one on the block and could have been the first one leaving through those doors. I am happy I made it this far and at least I won a PoV challenge to give my people something to cheer about back home.
How did you feel about the audience’s reaction when you exited the house and went out on stage?
Damien: Oh my God, that just gave me chills to say the least. I am so flattered and I guess I must have did something right. I’m glad I acted the way I did in the house and I am glad Canada is taking recognition of what I was trying to represent. That gave me chills, yeah.
What are you most interested in finding out once you get out of the house?
Damien: All of the alliances that I wasn’t a part of! I was a true player and I was loyal to certain people. I just want to see how many things are actually going on in that house that I don’t know about.
