Big Brother 18 Day 56 - Bridgette discusses keeping Michelle

August 9, 2016

10:00-11:00 AM: James told Michelle that she played a good game, beating Da’Vonne and Frank, no matter what happens. Michelle asked if Corey and Nicole want her out. James said there is no telling but he is not going to say no because there is always a chance. Michelle said she wants to warn people about a couple people who she could see going really far in the game and winning the game. James told Michelle not to be hard on herself no matter what happens, which led Michelle to ask if he is hinting at something. James said that he is not. Michelle pointed out that she would be a big target for the double eviction, taking the heat off of others. Michelle said Corey, Nicole and Paulie are unlikely to nominate Zakiyah but they could nominate her. Michelle said Victor’s HoH was not very strategic, given that she was not coming after him. Michelle asked James if he thinks anyone sees Paulie as a threat, cause it feels like no one does. James said everyone likes him. Michelle questioned why that doesn’t make him a bigger threat. She said she feels like people are dumb. Michelle said that winning that many competitions should be a red flag, as should his strong social game and his ability to manipulate people to vote his way three weeks in a row. Michelle said she thinks that Nicole and Paulie have a Final 2 deal. Michelle told James that sometimes she feels like the whole house is oblivious. James said everybody has their time in the game but some people’s is sooner than others. Michelle brought up that Tiffany, Frank and Da’Vonne all said that Nicole cannot be trusted. Michelle said she actually agrees with them now and doesn’t get why people don’t see the trend. Michelle admitted that she wishes those three were still in the game at times. Michelle told James that she would make a big move if she were to win the double eviction, meaning that she would have an even bigger target on her back for the following week. James said he wouldn’t go around telling people that if he were Michelle. Michelle said she would only need three votes to stay, so Corey, Nicole and Paulie wouldn’t even matter. Michelle said she guarantees that Paul thinks he is working with Paulie. Michelle thinks that people think they are working with those people when they actually are not, so they will get screwed over. Michelle revealed that she was supposed to be in an alliance with Corey, Nicole, Paulie and Zakiyah, yet Paulie didn’t use the veto on either alliance member. Michelle said she thinks Paulie knows that she is on to him. Michelle said that Paulie and Nicole are running the house and are the shot callers. She said she wants everyone to know it because it’s true but might they may be oblivious to it even though she is the fourth person to say it. Michelle pointed out that she has not once heard that people are going after those two. James said people’s games change over time. He said he is hoping that he doesn’t get targeted for something small. Michelle advised him to watch out for that because people could indeed target him for something small.

1:00-2:00 PM: Paulie spoke to Corey and Nicole about how they brought Michelle in and protected her yet she is throwing their names out there. Paulie said he isn’t the one who nominated Michelle, yet she chose to call him out for his competition wins during the veto ceremony. Paulie mentioned that Michelle didn’t mind that he was winning competitions when it was keeping their team safe every week. Paulie said Zakiyah told him that Bridgette said Michelle had a point in her speech. Paulie talked about how he had wanted to take it easy for a bit but now they have to get Bridgette out next. Corey said James wants to let Bridgette know that Paul is talking about getting her out next week. He also said Paulie should reinforce with her that backdooring Da’Vonne was a secondary option for Paul, as Bridgette was his true target. Paulie said he would have been fine with keeping Michelle around had she not opened her mouth this week and last. Paulie told Corey and Nicole that he would have bene fine with Zakiyah leaving up until that point if that’s what people wanted. Paulie then told Natalie that Michelle will not talk to him and he doesn’t know what her deal is. He let Natalie know that Michelle is saying that she will blow his game up before she leaves. Natalie suggested that Paulie speak to Michelle. Paulie said he has tried multiple times but he may try again.

2:00-3:00 PM: Bridgette, Michelle and Natalie chatted out by the pool. Bridgette told Michelle that she does not want her to leave this week, despite the beef that they previously had between them. Michelle said there are three certain people who screwed her over last week, so she wants to put her trust in other people. Michelle said she will not nominate Bridgette, James, Natalie or Victor. Bridgette said it would be pivotal if they are able to keep Michelle this week. Michelle said she sees Paulie winning the game. Bridgette agreed. Bridgette told Michelle that Paulie is pissed that she called him out, but she thought it was beautiful. Michelle said Paulie has manipulated a lot of people and he was coached by Derrick. Bridgette added that Paulie’s brother finished in second place. Michelle asked if Paulie has talked to Bridgette about sending her home. Bridgette said yeah. Michelle feels it’s because Paulie knows that she is on to him. Michelle was happy that Bridgette was on board with keeping her. She admitted that she was afraid to talk to Bridgette due to their beef. Bridgette assured her that it’s water under the bridge. Michelle said she realized that Bridgette is awesome as soon as she got past all of the jealousy. Bridgette asked what James and Natalie are thinking. Natalie said they don’t vote together and she will not vote with James if she doesn’t agree with how he is voting. Bridgette worried that James would not use his power strategically unless he thinks that enough people are on board. Bridgette said she doesn’t think it’s possible to get Paulie out right now since he has too many people on his side. Michelle said she would nominate Nicole and Paulie if she wins HoH. She said she would want Paulie to go but it’s up to the house. Michelle said she has the votes to stay if she gets Bridgette, James and Natalie on her side. Bridgette said James would then have to use the power strategically, which she is not sure that he has the balls to do. Afterwards, Bridgette asked Natalie if she thinks that James would be willing to flip the house. Natalie said she is hoping so. Bridgette said people are obviously going to be mad, so she doesn’t know if James will be down for it.

3:00-4:00 PM: Bridgette pointed out to Natalie that they can head into next week with a 6-3 advantage if they team up with Paul, Victor, James and Michelle against Corey, Nicole and Paulie. Bridgette said she isn’t sure if Paul would turn against Paulie but she knows that Paul wants Zakiyah out. Bridgette said Corey, Nicole and Paulie are so strong that they will be screwed if Zakiyah stays. Natalie agreed. Natalie said Michelle has to stay this week. They discussed that they have to talk to James in order to get him on board.

4:00-5:00 PM: Michelle told Bridgette it’s funny that Victor trusts Paul when Paul apparently cannot stand him. She mentioned that Paul tweeted “exec lost his mind”. Michelle said they call Victor exec because he was trying to be a shot caller. Bridgette said Victor thinks they are calling him that because he is Paul’s right hand man. Michelle said people must be scared of Paulie. Bridgette figured that the issue is Paulie is able to make everyone feel as though he will bring them along with him. Michelle admitted to having felt that way. Bridgette said they should shake things up since the worst that can happen is they get sent to jury. Bridgette informed Michelle that Zakiyah was originally the target because she lasts longer in competitions and because Michelle is an emotional player who will break down. Bridgette mentioned that Paulie is intimidated by independent, powerful women. She told Michelle that Paulie knows to be afraid of them and that’s why he is going to try to get them both out. She talked about how the only girls who are sticking around are those who are controlled by their showmances. Up in the HoH room, Nicole told Corey that she will nominate Bridgette and Paul if she wins HoH. She said she plans to tell both of them that they are pawns, then she would tell people to vote Paul out. Nicole told Corey that she wants to make a Final 4 with Corey, James and Paulie. Nicole said it’s weird that Michelle has not yet asked for her vote. She also said she is shocked that Michelle is not fighting harder, given that it is her dream to be there. Finally, Nicole brought up that she cannot believe James is going to cancel out Natalie’s vote. She said it’s really bad for her since he should cancel out her vote instead because she doesn’t want to vote either of the girls out.

5:00-6:00 PM: Michelle headed up to the HoH room to ask Victor where his head is at. He said he wouldn’t mind seeing Zakiyah go but he doesn’t have a vote. Michelle told Victor that she is not after him, Bridgette or Paul. She told Victor that the people who are running the house are trying to get the vote to go their way again. Michelle asked if Victor trusts Paulie. He said he does. Michelle brought up that Paulie backdoored Victor. Victor said Paulie was on the outside of the eight person alliance at that point. Michelle said that’s true but Paulie was telling them that he wanted Victor gone because she is a physical threat. She then let Victor know that Paulie said Zakiyah, Corey, Nicole, Paulie and herself were an alliance. She explained that Paulie is good at getting into people’s ears. Michelle said Paulie is only looking out for his own game by coming after her, seeing as Victor wants Zakiyah out. Victor encouraged Michelle to start her campaign by talking to Paul. Victor admitted that he doesn’t see Michelle as a threat to his game. He said he sees her as a threat to Paulie’s game and to James’ game. Michelle said it will come down to whether or not James has the balls to use his power in a certain way. Michelle asked if Paul trusts Paulie. Victor said he thinks so. Michelle said that’s the problem since everyone trusts Paulie because he makes them think that he will take you far. Michelle said she doesn’t want to see Paulie at the end. She reminded Victor that Paulie has been coached by Derrick, one of the most strategic players to ever play the game. Michelle said she will be calling Paulie out if she leaves. Michelle told Victor that Corey says he is about to snap on Victor because he hates what he does to him and Nicole. She advised him to be careful who he trusts.

6:00-7:00 PM: Bridgette told Paul she is not convinced that Zakiyah will be next week’s target if she stays. Paul asked who was telling her that she would be. Bridgette explained that she thought they were supposed to get both girls out back to back because they were associated with Da’Vonne. Paul said he thought the same thing. He told Bridgette that word on the street is that Michelle was the one closest to Da’Vonne. Bridgette said they all know that’s not true. Paul said he has definitely thought the same thing Bridgette is thinking but he doesn’t know if it’s the right time to go against the house. Bridgette asked who the house is. Paul said he guesses that it’s the pairs. Paul said Michelle is an emotional wreck and they cannot expect her to win anything. Bridgette agreed. Paul said their two votes will not matter up against the other five or six votes. Bridgette said she isn’t saying that she is not okay with what seems to be the plan but she wants to know why. Paul said the only thing he can tell Bridgette is that Michelle’s speech during the veto ceremony probably didn’t help. After her talk with Paul, Bridgette let Natalie know that she doesn’t know if they can get Paul. She said it’s not going to work.

9:00-10:00 PM: James asked Natalie who she thinks is going home this week. Natalie said she already knows that Zakiyah is staying. Natalie asked why James is asking her when he already knows the answer. James said he was just seeing if Natalie knew. She told him that it was obvious. She asked who is running the house, adding that his girl is obviously going to stay. James said he could save Michelle if he wanted to but it would piss the whole house off. Natalie said it would only piss three people off. James said he doesn’t understand why Natalie thinks there is a mass alliance when there is not. Natalie said there is and she is not an idiot.

10:00-11:00 PM: Bridgette and Michelle chatted in the hot tub. Michelle said Paulie has said Paul is a threat to his game because he has a good social game like he does. Bridgette wondered how Paulie is getting away with this. As for Nicole, Michelle said Jozea was right that Nicole is a snake. Bridgette told Michelle they messed up and now they have to fix things. Bridgette asked if James would go for a deal with the two of them, Natalie and Victor. Michelle wasn’t sure. Michelle informed Bridgette about her alliance with Corey, Nicole, Paulie and Zakiyah. Bridgette said they were playing her. She suggested pitching to Paul that he is the fifth wheel. Michelle said she can point out what happened to her. Bridgette said Corey doesn’t trust Paul. Michelle said Paulie told her that he doesn’t trust Paul because Paul runs his mouth. Bridgette said they need to use facts to convince Paul that those guys are not on his side. Michelle said she thinks that Natalie would vote for her. Bridgette said she knows that for a fact. Bridgette said people don’t see that Paulie is keeping people around who are votes for him. Michelle said people see Paulie as a God sent from above. She mentioned that he is playing like Derrick and was coached by Derrick. Michelle plans to say that in her speech. Michelle told Bridgette that Nicole and Zakiyah get jealous over everything. She let Bridgette know that Nicole was jealous of what she was doing with Corey during the halfway party. Bridgette said she could flirt with Zakiyah. They discussed that it could cause some drama and lead to Paulie wanting Zakiyah out. Meanwhile, in the bedroom, Natalie told James that Paulie has Corey, Paul, Nicole and Zakiyah who would never go against him. She said James wouldn’t either. Natalie said Zakiyah is going to trust Paulie even more once she stays this week, doing whatever he says. James said Zakiyah is in love and would walk out the door for Paulie if he asked her to. Natalie said Paulie is running the house and everyone trusts him. Natalie said no one in the house, including James, wants to piss Paulie off. James questioned if Natalie really thinks he is scared to go against Paulie. Natalie said he is not scared but he thinks it’s not the right time. She told James that Corey, Nicole and Paulie would be the only people to get upset over Zakiyah leaving.

11:00-12:00 AM: Michelle told James and Natalie that she thinks she has a third vote if she has them. Michelle told James that Paulie is running the house and everyone trusts him. She said Tiffany, Frank and Da’Vonne all went home because they dropped Paulie’s name. Michelle said she called Paulie out and is now going too. Michelle told James that Paulie dropped his name, saying he is playing a bit like Derrick. Michelle explained that she will be be the big target next week after she voices that she is after Paulie. She said she will keep James and Natalie safe if she wins HoH as well. James said he needs whoever is voting for Michelle to come talk to him. Michelle told Natalie that Nicole was getting jealous of her and Corey during the halfway party, so she was mocking Natalie by pretending to twirl her hair like her. She also let Natalie know that Paulie is saying that he has stories about Natalie from back home. After Michelle left, James and Natalie discussed that Paulie has talked crap about the both of them. Natalie said Paulie should attack her game, not her personal life. Natalie said Paulie has told her that she is wifey material and that she his going to wife her up. She told James that is his friend. Paulie questioned why Natalie didn’t tell him about this before. Natalie said she was scared to but she tried to. She also told James that Paulie said if they made out outside, no one would ever know. She then said Paulie was talking about her having one of the best butts today. James said Paulie should not be talking about her butt. James said it’s a big deal because he has never said anything like that to Nicole or Zakiyah. Natalie said this is why she has neve trusted Paulie. James told Natalie that she should have told him sooner, because now he will look like a fool.

12:00-1:00 AM: Bridgette told James that she kind of wants Michelle to stay. Natalie said she does too. James said he is worried that Corey, Nicole and Paulie would throw him on the block if they keep Michelle. James told the girls that the only way to make it right is to tell the whole house that he wants Zakiyah out. He said he could not blindside people on eviction night. James said he wants people in the house to stand up and voice their opinions. Bridgette said Victor is also on board with getting Zakiyah out. James wanted Victor to talk to him. James didn’t want to make a move unless the whole house would be on board with it. Bridgette said the way to get Paulie to want Zakiyah out is by making her super jealous. James said one of the girls should flirt with Paulie. Bridgette asked James what he is thinking about the plan to keep Michelle. James said Paulie needs to be on board. Bridgette said Paulie is going to win the game if they don’t stop him. Natalie seconded that thought. Bridgette headed to the bathroom where Paulie was. Bridgette was giggling while sitting next to him, as Zakiyah sat nearby in the kitchen.

1:00-2:00 AM: Out by the hot tub, James told Natalie that he will not be keeping Michelle unless the whole house is on board. James said it will be open season on the couples if they take Zakiyah out. Natalie said Paulie left Zakiyah on the block and he wouldn’t care if she were to go. James said his gut is telling him not to keep Michelle. Natalie said don’t do it then. Natalie said Corey and Paul are Paulie’s spies. James said this is not the right time to rock the boat. Natalie asked when the right time will be, asking if it’s after she is taken out. James said Bridgette and Victor should be the next targets as of now. Natalie said she will tell James “I told you so” when Paulie wins the game. Up in the HoH room, Paul and Paulie discussed their plan. Paul said swapping James out for an easy girl is the better option. Paul said Victor can take the shot at James. As for the upcoming week, Paulie said he can’t nominate Zakiyah but he can put Natalie and Nicole up. Paul asked who they will send home. Paulie said Nicole. Paul agreed that Nicole has to go if she is on the block, seeing as she is the strongest of the girls. Paulie said she will be gone if she is on the block. They counted out the votes to evict Nicole as whichever one of them doesn’t win HoH, James, Bridgette and Victor. Paulie said no more information can be given to Nicole or to Corey until Nicole is gone.
