Big Brother: Over The Top Day 9

October 6, 2016

10:00-11:00 AM: The houseguests gathered in the living room for an announcement from Julie. Julie said it’s time to reveal another way that fans will be impacting the game. She let the houseguests know that every week for the next seven weeks, America will vote to send one houseguest America’s Care Package. Julie said each care package contains an advantage in the game. She said you are only eligible to receive a care package once, but everyone will be eligible again if everyone left in the game has already received one. The care packages are as follows:

Week 1: Save-A-Friend. The winner of this care package has the power to save one of their housemates from eviction this week.
Week 2: Pick-A-Veto. The winner of this care package gets to choose which type of veto the houseguests will be competing for. The options are Diamond Veto (the holder chooses the replacement nominee), a Double Veto (two vetoes are in play) or a Boomerang Veto (the winner can use it twice).
Week 3: The Safety Servant. The winner of the care package will be safe from eviction but will have to be the HoH’s personal servant.
Week 4: Eliminate Three Eviction Votes. The winner of the care package has the power to eliminate three eviction votes.
Week 5: Co-HoH. The winner will be safe, share the perks of being HoH and name one of the two nominees.
Week 6: Double Eviction Veto. During the double eviction, there will not be a veto competition. The winner of the care package will be given the PoV.
Week 7: The Final Four Challenge. The winner will receive the opportunity to automatically advance to the Final 4. In order to claim the spot, the winner will have to complete a challenge given by Big Brother.

4:00-5:00 PM: Morgan told Shelby and Whitney that she doesn’t think it’s worth telling Scott the plan since he will run and tell people whatever they say. Morgan thinks that they can bring Kryssie and Neeley in, especially considering Neeley wanted a girls alliance. Whitney said they should be able to use this week to turn some of the others against each other. Shelby said they can destroy the other alliances in the house. Whitney told Morgan that she hopes they can get Danielle out because she is controlling Justin and Shane. Shelby headed up to the HoH room to speak to Alex. Alex said the tough part about this week is she doesn’t know which way America will vote. Alex thinks that Scott will vote with them this week, though they agreed that he is wishy washy and he cannot be trusted. Alex said Scott is speaking to literally everyone and being a total snake. Alex worried that Monte would be wishy washy if she were to nominate Shane. She didn’t think that he would be willing to vote Shane out. Alex said Jason scares her because she doesn’t know what he is thinking, but she doesn’t want to piss America off by nominating Jason. Shelby told Alex that America will want her to play the game. Shelby said Jason is apparently outside talking crap about her all night. Whitney joined the girls. Alex said as much as Danielle gets on her nerves, Shane is the head of the snake. Alex thinks that Shane has Monte wrapped around his finger. Whitney suggested that Danielle and Shane should be the main targets. Alex agreed. Alex said she doesn’t want what happened with Cornbread to happen to one of her allies. She mentioned that she wants to shake the other side up because they will take control of the game and run away with it if not, making it so boring. Alex said her emotions tell her to get rid of Danielle but her logic tells her to get rid of Shane. She pointed out that Shane leaving would break up both a showmance and a bromance. Alex hoped that she could get Monte to suggest getting Shane out so that they don't break their trust with Monte by making that move. Alex said she doesn’t see Justin as a target this week. Whitney said Justin and Monte can sort through their own issues.

5:00-6:00 PM: Alex spoke to Neeley and pointed out that everyone was cheering for Justin to win HoH when it came down to Justin and the two of them. Neeley said she thinks some people don’t like the fact that she has a relationship with Monte. Neeley said she is very loyal and will not nominate Monte whenever she does win something. Alex said Shane is in a showmance and a bromance, so she wants to cut him this week. Neeley said that’s a valid point. She explained that it would be tough for the girls to win with Monte and Shane together. Alex talked about three pairs making it to the end during Big Brother 18, which wasn’t interesting. She said she doesn’t want that to happen again. Alex asked if Neeley would be willing to make the move against Shane if she puts her up. Neeley said it depends on who America nominates, because she will vote Shelby out if she goes up. If not, Neeley said she would be willing to cut Shane. Neeley said people work with her because she is a number, though they don’t trust her fully because she is connected to Monte. After speaking to Neeley, Alex told Morgan that Neeley and Monte are super tight. Monte joined the sisters. They discussed Neeley saying that she wants Shelby out. Monte thinks it would be better to have America nominate him instead of Shelby if one of them has to go up. Alex asked Monte if it would freak him out if she nominates Shane. Monte said it’s Alex’s HoH. Alex asked if Monte would vote Shane out. Monte said they need Danielle out but he would vote Shane out eventually. When Monte pushed for Justin to go, Alex again brought up how three pairs made it to the end during Big Brother 18. Alex said she is going to break up the pairs. Alex narrowed down the list of potential nominees to Danielle, Jason, Justin and Shane.

6:00-7:00 PM: Monte advised Alex to nominate Jason or Justin next to Danielle because America likes those two and would not nominate them. Alex said she really wants to break up the power duo of Danielle and Shane. Scott came upstairs and told the group that they control the votes this week and he is totally down with doing whatever they want. After Scott left, Monte said Scott will go downstairs and tell the others that he has their back with whatever they want to do next week. Morgan said she thinks that Danielle leaving would lead to the other side crumbling. Monte agreed. After Monte left, Alex told Morgan and Shelby that Monte really doesn’t want her to put Shane up but she may still do it anyway. Shelby said Monte is still feeding into the fantasy of Shane running the house along with him. Alex worried that Monte was going to jump ship until she won HoH. She said Monte wants her to get Justin out because it benefits his game. Alex said she is not doing that. She told the girls that they can use Justin. Alex said she would like to get Shane out but she might have to settle for getting Danielle out if she cannot get Monte’s vote. Alex said she is going to let Monte think he is leading the strategy talks, because he will stick with them if he thinks that he is the alpha male. Whitney joined the girls. Alex said it has to be Danielle or Shane that leaves this week. Alex said she is leaning towards nominating them next to each other.

7:00-8:00 PM: Morgan asked Monte what he is thinking. Monte said he wants Justin to go. However, he said he has their back if Alex wants to go after Shane. Morgan said she doesn’t think that Shane would have Monte’s back in the end. Monte said it’s best for his game to have Justin go but it’s a team approach and he will support whatever they need to do. Up in the HoH room, Alex let Jason know that she respects his game and wants to play it with him. Alex said she is not putting the target on Jason but she wants him to have her back. Jason said he already had Alex’s back. Alex said Jason is smart and knows the game. She said she would like to extend working together past next week. Alex asked who Jason would be after if he were to win HoH. Jason said he would have to take a shot back at Monte. Alex said she is obviously not going to target her side. She asked if there is anyone Jason would prefer to see go up on his side. Jason said a lot of people feel a certain type of way about Shelby but he thinks that America will take care of her this week. Jason said Danielle and Shane are floaters. He told Alex that the only way she can nominate them is if she puts them both not he block. Jason said that if he is being grouped in with Kryssie and Neeley, he would probably rather lose Kryssie if one of them has to go. Jason asked if Alex will be able to convince her side not to come after him. Alex said yes and told Jason that he will not be put up. She then said she cannot guarantee anything 100%, though she is going to put the target on someone else.

8:00-9:00 PM: Alex told Justin that she doesn’t want to make him the target this week. Justin said he feels like he is one of the strongest ones in the house, which could make him a target. Alex asked if there is anyone Justin thinks that she should put up. Justin threw Shelby’s name out there, saying she is not a strong competitor and she jumps to whoever is HoH. Alex said she wants to make sure that Justin will have her back if she doesn’t nominate him. Justin said he is willing to work with Alex. Justin assured Alex that he will have her back and look out for her if she keeps him safe this week. After Justin left, Alex spoke to the feeders and said she doesn’t really trust Justin but she does want to work with Jason. Alex then spoke to Scott. Scott said he feels like Justin is the biggest physical an social threat in the game. Scott suggested that keeping the showmance in the house could be good since they will be a target. Alex pointed out that Danielle was capable of flipping the house even while on the block last week. Scott said that he and Monte have quite a bit of influence over Shane and could stop him from putting Alex on the block. Shane and Danielle made their way up to the HoH room. Alex let them know that their names have come up. Danielle said she expected that being in a showmance would put a target on their backs, but they will be a bigger target than Alex. Danielle said Alex has never been on their radar and she is someone that they have been interested in working with. Danielle said that going after the showmance is such a predictable move that it’s almost not a smart move. Shane and Danielle then pitched that they are two votes in Alex’s corner if she keeps them off the block this week. Alex said that’s what she needed to hear. After they left, Alex said she does not trust Danielle and Shane at all.

9:00-10:00 PM: Monte was heated after Justin took his clothes off in front of Morgan before entering the shower. Morgan told Alex that Monte has got to chill. Alex said he is in more danger than she thought. Monte joined the girls and said that he would punch Justin’s teeth in if this wasn’t a TV show. Alex asked what happened. Morgan said Justin took his pants off in front of her out of nowhere. Monte said he whipped it out and was trying to send a message that he was showing his junk to Morgan when he knows that he is tight with Morgan. Alex let Monte and Morgan know that people are talking about them as if they are a duo. Morgan said they will hang out less.

10:00-11:00 PM: Kryssie spoke to Alex up in the HoH room. Shelby was the only name that Kryssie would throw out there as a potential nominee. Kryssie said Scott is a swing vote and so is Whitney, because Whitney is absolutely with herself. Kryssie told Alex that the zero votes against her at the last eviction is a tool that they need to look at. She said even America did not want to send her home. Kryssie asked if America will be pissed off if Alex were to get someone out who she has connections with. Kryssie told Alex that she has a responsibility to America to keep the game interesting. Kryssie made it clear that she wants Jason to be safe, though she said she will only tell Alex not to nominate her. Alex said she can look Kryssie in the eye and tell her that she will be not be nominated. Alex then spoke to Morgan about her talk with Kryssie. She said Kryssie implied that Whitney is in an alliance with her. Morgan said it’s a good possibility. They discussed how Whitney has been acting different today. Monte then met with the sisters, Whitney and Shelby to inform them that Shane and Danielle are promising to vote with them in exchange for safety. Whitney said they will not vote with them and it will be easy for them to flip once they are not nominated. Monte said they need those votes or else they cannot pul anything off this week. Monte insisted that Danielle and Shane will not nominate the girls. Shelby said their only other option would be to nominate their own alliance then. Monte said Danielle and Shane are targeting Kryssie, but the girls didn’t buy it. Whitney pointed out that they would have voted Kryssie out last night if that were the case. Alex told Monte that while Danielle and Shane may protect him, they will not protect the rest of the alliance. The girls agreed that Danielle and Shane need to go up.

11:00-12:00 AM: After Monte left, the girls discussed that he thinks he is coaching them. Alex said she is putting Danielle and Shane up. They talked about how Monte would believe anything that Shane says. Alex said that Monte’s fixation on Shane will cost him his game. Downstairs, Monte told Danielle and Shane that they have to make sure they tell Alex that they will vote anyone out as long as they are safe. Not long after, Danielle spoke to Morgan about how they will vote whichever way Alex wants and also do what she wants with the veto if they happen to win it.

Voting is now open for the Week 1 care package. Click here to vote.
