Big Brother: Over The Top Day 56 - Shelby is the replacement nominee

November 22, 2016

1:00-2:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Jason used the Power of Veto on himself. Morgan was forced to nominate Shelby in his place since she was the only option.

2:00-3:00 PM: Shelby said she feels like Morgan will win HoH tomorrow. Morgan said she hopes so and she has to be in the right mindset. Shelby pointed out that they always win HoHs after one of their alliance members leaves. Shelby told the viewers that she hopes her girl Morgan makes it to the finale and that Morgan will get any votes that were going to come her way had she been at the end. Morgan said it will be tough to get there but she will have two more opportunities to win a spot in the Final 3. Morgan said she will be doing it for all of the people in her alliance. Downstairs, Jason told Justin and Kryssie that they need to make sure Morgan doesn’t win either of the two competitions. Jason figured that Shelby would not help Morgan win by giving her all of the information that she has before leaving. Kryssie agreed and said that Morgan is not Shelby’s friend. Justin said Shelby only cares about herself. Jason said this whole week is about her and she is the star of it since the whole eviction is about her.

4:00-5:00 PM: The live feeds were down temporarily so that the houseguests could record a segment for Thanksgiving. Once the feeds returned, Jason, Justin and Kryssie were talking about Shelby’s behaviour during it. Kryssie called Shelby a sore loser and said Shelby thinks the whole show is about her. Shelby apparently mentioned the Bungalow during her segment but was told that it could not be used. Jason said America probably likes Shelby since none of her Bungalow stories can be aired. Justin said she doesn’t have any stories aside from those.

5:00-6:00 PM: Morgan apologized to Shelby, saying that she feels it was kind of her responsibility to win the veto and she dropped the ball. Shelby said it’s not Morgan’s fault since she could have won it for herself and didn’t. Morgan agreed but said Shelby saved her last week. Morgan later said she would have higher hopes in Shelby winning the final competitions than she does in herself winning them. Shelby said Morgan has two shots at it and she is only going to be competing against three people. Morgan said two of them suck at challenges too. Elsewhere, Kryssie said for someone who wanted to play the game so bad, Shelby sure is playing the bitter card rather than trying to save herself. Jason acknowledged that they wouldn’t have considered her plea anyway. Kryssie feels that Shelby went to the other side once she realized that they didn’t like them. Jason asked where flipping got Shelby. Kryssie said it worked well and she is going right back to the Bungalow. Kryssie admitted that she has been anti-Shelby for a long time and she is at the end of her rope with her. Jason wondered how Morgan would behave next week in terms of integrating herself with the group. Justin figured that she wouldn’t. Jason disagreed.

7:00-8:00 PM: Following the weekday replay’s airing, feeds returned to Justin telling Kryssie that this is the most he has ever needed her in this game if he doesn’t pull through in the competition. Justin told Kryssie that she will be in the Final 3 no matter what. Justin said it will be the two of them battling for first and second if things work out in their favour. Justin told Kryssie that Jason may come in third place since people can only take so much of that. Kryssie thinks that she is now getting it worse from Jason since he doesn’t have Danielle to pick on anymore. Justin said Jason can still have a good time without being so rude to people. He doesn’t like the way that Jason speaks to Kryssie. Jason was upstairs in the HoH room listening to Morgan’s music. Justin wondered if the girls were trying to flip him. Kryssie said it would scare her a lot but she doesn’t think that Jason would do it. Justin said he doesn’t trust Jason at all. He spoke about Jason saying he threw them under the bus to save them. Justin admitted that he doesn’t see it that way. He reminded Kryssie that it could have been them going home instead of Danielle or Jason because of it. Kryssie said she knows. She followed that up by saying that Jason did it for selfish reasons but she thinks that they were in the back of Jason’s mind too. Justin told Kryssie that he will headbutt Jason and get thrown out if he votes to evict Kryssie, though he said he would like to think that Jason is a better person than to do that. Kryssie agreed but said the girls are horrible and she guarantees that that’s what is going on upstairs. The live diary room sessions got underway. Morgan said she doesn’t understand why Justin and Kryssie cannot see that Jason is the biggest threat to win the game. Morgan said she hopes the viewers will see how hard she fought to get to the finale if she ends up making it there. Meanwhile, Kryssie told Justin that she will feel so stupid if she spent the entire game protecting Jason and then he flips on her at the end. Kryssie said there is no reason for Jason to want to keep Shelby when she is a way bigger threat. When Jason got called to the diary room, Kryssie commented on how he cannot hang out with his girls upstairs in the HoH room anymore. Kryssie told Justin she doesn’t know how she is going to go into the diary room and pretend to be happy. She asked Justin to speak to Jason after he gets out of the diary room to figure out what is going on. In the diary room, Jason said this vote is simple for him since he knows that Shelby has got to go. Jason explained that Shelby is someone he respects as a player since she laid low and then was strong when it came to logic and puzzles. Jason said he hopes the viewers can see that he is a good person at the core and he is trying to play the game. He hoped that he would be rewarded for his “endless gameplay”.

8:00-9:00 PM: After Jason left the diary room, he told Kryssie that he was just having a conversation with Shelby about her knowing that she is going and he was sending her out with love. Kryssie then headed to the diary room. Justin told Jason that he tried telling Kryssie there is no way that he would flip. Jason said the girls are not even trying. Justin let Jason know that Kryssie was really upset. Up in the HoH room, Shelby told Morgan that next week she will have a better chance to convince Justin to evict Jason than to convince Kryssie to evict Jason. Morgan thinks that Justin would win the game if he takes her and Kryssie to the end. Morgan expects Kryssie to be a hard sell because she is an idiot. Shelby called Kryssie delusional for thinking that she has a chance against Jason.

9:00-10:00 PM: In the bedroom, Jason spoke to the feeders. He said he did not come there to lose to someone who has watched two seasons, which is everyone in the Final 4 aside from himself. Jason said he has faith in the fandom that they will vote for him to win over Justin but he does not want to leave it to chance. Jason thinks he needs to go to the end with Morgan and Kryssie in order to give himself the best chance to be viewed as the best player out of the Final 3. Jason argued that Justin plays the sympathy card but does not say anything that gathers sympathy. On the other hand, Jason said everyone knows that he is poor. Jason also said he is tired of Justin saying he is playing with no strategy when he is playing with one of the best strategies in there. Jason mentioned needing to use Morgan as a weapon against Justin somehow.
