Big Brother: Over The Top Day 43 - Alex and Whitney are evicted

November 9, 2016

4:00-5:00 PM: Big Brother gathered the houseguests in the living room. They watched as various items from the “Big Brother Shopping Network” were shown on the screen for an upcoming competition. The houseguests then split up into two groups to study. Alex, Morgan and Shelby headed to the yoga room while everyone else went to the bedroom. Big Brother then played a clip of one of Shelby’s diary room sessions over the speakers. She said “one large logic problem just like on the LSATS. You use the process of elimination and focus on one picture at a time…”. Shelby said “what the f*ck are you doing?” when she heard it play. Feeds then cut to fish.

6:00-7:00 PM: The live eviction took place. Alex was evicted by a unanimous vote of 4-0-0. Julie let the houseguests know that America will not be nominated a third person nor will they be casting an eviction vote. However, she said that America will be voting to send someone a care package. Not long after, Rachel Reilly showed up to host the HoH competition. The houseguests were shown video of the “Big Brother Shopping Network”. They had to answer true or false questions about what they were shown. Danielle, Kryssie, Morgan and Whitney answered all seven questions correctly. They advanced to the tiebreaker. Justin answered six questions correctly and was eliminated. Danielle won HoH. Morgan and Shelby headed to the London room. They cried together. Shelby told Morgan that she knows she had so much pressure on her and she is proud of her for answering all of the questions correctly. Shelby said it will be a boring week if America doesn’t give Morgan the care package. The two discussed that they are more scared to be the one left alone with the other houseguests. Morgan said it sucks because this is Alex’s dream. Shelby said Alex’s best bet is now to win vicariously through Morgan. Shelby said that they are more upset than Alex is cause Alex played a great game and was targeted because people were scared of her.

7:00-8:00 PM: Julie let the houseguests know that a care package will be delivered in roughly an hour. Shelby told the viewers that if they want the game to be interesting at all, they will send it to Morgan. Jason said that just because Morgan has tear ducts it doesn’t mean that she deserves a care package. Danielle said she didn’t even cry that much when Shane left. Jason said it’s the first time the girls lost someone who they cared about. Kryssie added that the girls didn’t care when they were crying. Back in the yoga room, Shelby explained to the viewers that Danielle is HoH and doesn’t need a care package, Justin doesn’t play the game and doesn’t need one, and Whitney is not as sweet as she pretends to be so she doesn’t need one either.

8:00-9:00 PM: The care package was delivered. Morgan received the Power of Veto. It was explained that she cannot be nominated since she is safe. In addition to that, Morgan was given the power to remove one of the nominees should she choose to do so. Jason said Big Brother is rewriting the rules with this one. Morgan told Shelby that she bets the others feel like idiots for sending Alex home over her when Alex couldn’t have received the care package. Danielle spoke to Morgan and Shelby in hope of finding out what they would like to see happen. Morgan suggested that Danielle think about the end game and who is going to be winning competitions. Morgan said Jason and Justin are the biggest threats. Danielle told the girls that she understands if they are hesitant to trust her after the whole Final 5 thing, but she is there to play the game and things change minute by minute. Shelby asked if anyone on Danielle’s side would be willing to work with them. They talked about Jason being willing to do so. Danielle said the only person that she wants to protect is Jason. Shelby mentioned that Justin could get the care package and then Danielle wont get one. Shelby added that Justin is more loyal to Jason, Kryssie and Whitney than to Danielle. Danielle said that she will have to nominate Justin and Whitney. She told the girls that she would likely have to break a tie if they vote Justin out.

9:00-10:00 PM: The safety ceremony took place. Morgan was automatically safe from eviction. Danielle then saved Shelby, Jason and Kryssie in that order. Danielle nominated Justin and Whitney for eviction. Danielle told them both that she doesn’t have much to say because she didn’t think that she would be put in this position. Danielle said she doesn’t want either of them to go. Danielle, Jason and Kryssie were all crying and talked things over in the bathroom. Jason said the girls will vote Justin out. They talked about how they knew that this day would have to come. Jason wondered if they are setting themselves up for a 3-3 split if they keep Whitney around. Danielle said the girls want Justin to go because they cannot work with him at all. Danielle and Jason agreed that the gamer in them is saying to evict Justin. However, Danielle said they know for a fact who Justin would nominate if he wins HoH. Danielle told Jason and Kryssie that they know they are not Justin’s targets. They then agreed that Whitney has got to go. Danielle said it is the move that needs to be made in order for them to make it to the Final 3. The veto ceremony then took place. Morgan decided not to use the Power of Veto. Danielle informed Morgan and Shelby that she doesn’t know if she will be able to send Justin home. She asked if they are completely opposed to voting Whitney out. Morgan said she would rather see Justin go. Jason said Whitney will likely go back to the girls. Shelby said Whitney sold them out. Morgan said Justin will beat any of them at the end if he stays. Danielle said she doesn’t see him getting to the end. Morgan reminded Jason that he said the double is the time to get a big target out. Jason said Whitney is a big target as well. Jason explained that Justin will remain a target for everyone and make for an easy next week. Shelby told him to be real since he will be coming after them if he wins HoH. Shelby questioned how they can take Danielle and Jason seriously about targeting Justin when they have now backed out on it twice. Danielle asked how they can know that they wont be the targets of the girls if they send Justin out. Danielle said she wanted to do something that benefits her and the girls. Morgan said there is no benefit to Justin staying. She told Danielle that she will get the care package if Justin goes. Danielle and Jason argued that Whitney is likely to get it too. Danielle said she is 50/50 and will not have her mind made up until she stands up to break the tie. The vote an eviction then took place. It ended up in a 2-2 tie. Danielle broke the tie by choosing to send Whitney home. Kryssie assured Danielle that she made the right move. She said Whitney was coming after Danielle but she didn’t want to tell her until it mattered. Elsewhere, Morgan told Shelby that she bets Whitney totally regrets flipping now.

10:00-4:00 AM: The next HoH competition got underway. The houseguests had to use four mirrors in order to guide a laser to a target. The person to do so in the fastest time would become the new HoH. There was a delay of over a couple of hours in between the time that Shelby competed and Justin competed.

5:00-6:00 AM: Danielle came out of the diary room to reveal the results of the HoH competition. The results were as follows:

Jason 8:14
Morgan 12:49
Kryssie 15:05
Justin 20:00 (DQ)

It was said that Shelby’s mirror broke at the 7:23 mark. Due to that, Big Brother said Jason and Shelby will face off against each other tomorrow night to determine who will become the new HoH.
