Celebrity Big Brother 2 Day 25 - Ricky nominates Dina and Kandi

February 9, 2019

11:00-12:00 PM: Ricky spoke to Lolo and Tamar about the fact that he will have to nominate one of them if Dina or Kandi win the veto. When Ricky asked if either of them care, Tamar said she cares. Tamar said she doesn’t understand why people view her as a threat in the end. Ricky said Tamar would only need Lolo’s vote and his vote, so that shouldn’t matter. Ricky told the girls that they don’t have to answer right now, but he is wondering if they have a preference over who goes on the block should he need to choose a replacement nominee. Looking ahead, Ricky acknowledged that Dina would be easier to beat in the end but he said he doesn’t know if taking her represents the show. Tamar said it doesn’t. Lolo asked Tamar how she would know that Tamar wouldn’t choose Kandi over her. Tamar said she doesn’t owe Kandi anything, as she has already shown Kandi she has interest in a relationship in the outside world.

12:00-1:00 PM: Tamar told Lolo that she would never keep Kandi over her. Tamar suggested that she has done all that she can for her relationship with Kandi, especially since Kandi will be back with her friends who dislike her once she gets home. Lolo asked if Tamar is leaning towards keeping Kandi. Tamar said it’s Ricky’s HoH, and she will respect whatever he wants to do. When Lolo mentioned that nobody has a chance against Kandi in the end, Tamar disagreed. Tamar nobody likes Kandi.

2:00-3:00 PM: Ricky told Lolo he is wondering if being HoH has any meaning now, in terms of whether or not people are still making deals. He said he is unsure if that leverage still applies this late in the game. Ricky talked about wondering if he should even try to win the veto, or if he should give Dina and Kandi a fair shot to save themselves. Lolo said she sees what he is saying, though part of her believes that everyone has had a fair shot to ensure that they stay. Lolo explained that it would never come down simply to the veto, as everything leading up to this point helps decide what happens. Ricky asked Lolo who she feels she has the best chance to win against if she wins the final HoH. Lolo mentioned she thought she had it figured out when she said she didn’t want to go up against Dina or Kandi, but an earlier conversation with Ricky got her twisted. Lolo said her gut tells her that they don’t have a chance against Dina or Kandi. Ricky said his heart is telling him to try to make a deal, such as one with Lolo and Tamar to ensure that he makes it to the Final 2. Ricky said he would consider not trying to win the final HoH if they would be willing to agree to take him, or else he will fight for it. Ricky pointed out that it could be a good deal for both Lolo and Tamar since Marissa won the game after winning the final HoH. Lolo said it’s a good thing to think about. She was not confident in her ability to beat Tamar unless it is a physical competition. Lolo mentioned that Ricky has played a hell of a game, but he is saying that he just wants to make it to the Final 2. Ricky again brought up that he is leaning towards cutting a deal. Lolo said that guarantees that Ricky gets to the Final 2, as opposed to numerous possible combinations if they all fight it out. Ricky said there is something about going into the final vote with a win in the last competition. Lolo said she needs to pray about it because her gut is not feeling good about the deal that Ricky put on the table. Lolo asked why Ricky wants to get down to the Final 2 so bad but take a loss. Ricky said it’s not a loss to him, and he would tell people to vote with their heart since the winner of the season represents all of their experiences. Ricky explained that only one of them can win, but they all play a part in this, so winning is playing your part the best that you can.

3:00-4:00 PM: Lolo brought up thinking that Ricky and Tamar are leaning towards keeping Kandi. Ricky said he is open minded and will support either decision. Lolo said Kandi will likely take Tamar to the end with her. Ricky disagreed, saying that Kandi is focused on who she can beat which is why she kept Lolo over Natalie. Ricky added that Kandi is a bit jealous of Tamar, meaning that it would crush her too much to lose to Tamar in the Final 2. When Lolo headed to the diary room, Ricky spoke to Tamar. Ricky asked Tamar if she will keep nominations the same if she wins the veto. Tamar said yeah, and then asked if that’s what Ricky would want. Ricky said it doesn’t matter to him since he is already in the Final 4. As he did with Lolo, Ricky brought up to Tamar that he isn’t sure if the HoH has the power to make deals at this point in the game. Tamar reassured Ricky that she will take him to the Final 2. Ricky said he would then nominate Lolo if Dina or Kandi win the veto, since Lolo is not being as clear in her decision as Tamar is. They discussed that Lolo doesn’t feel the same way as them when it comes to considering getting to the Final 2 a victory. Tamar asked if now is the time to get rid of Lolo. Ricky said he wouldn’t feel good about nominating her but he would be okay with it if Dina or Kandi win the veto. Tamar said she feels better keeping people around that make it clear where they stand. On top of that, she said they will have a better shot at winning the final HoH with Lolo out of the picture. Ricky said it would be good gameplay to target Lolo if she gets beat by Dina or Kandi in the veto competition.
