BBCAN5 Day 15 - William wins the Power of Veto
March 25, 2017
9:00-10:00 AM: Players were picked for the veto competition. Neda, Cassandra, Jackie, Emily, Ika and William will be competing.
10:00-11:00 AM: Ika told Cassandra that she thinks she might win the veto. Cassandra asked Ika if she would use it on her. Ika said that she would. Ika pointed out that it would draw a line. Cassandra said the line is already there. Ika then went back to Jackie to let her know that Cassandra asked her to use the veto on her. Ika said she told Cassandra that she would even though she wouldn’t. Ika explained that she would have been stuck in the room talking to Cassandra if she didn’t say she would use the veto on her. In the HoH room, Neda told Sindy that she does not want to be put in a position where she has to choose a replacement nominee. They agreed that Cassandra is unlikely to win, so they focused on the scenario of Jackie winning. Neda said she would have to find someone to nominate that would definitely stay over Cassandra. Neda threw William’s name out there.
11:00-12:00 PM: Jackie asked Ika to talk. They went to the HoH room to talk in front of Neda and Sindy. Jackie told Ika that Cassandra said Ika talked to Bruno before the flip of the house and he was the one that did it. Ika said Cassandra is lying. Ika told Jackie that Cassandra just wants her to be a target. She played it off as though Cassandra has mentioned that she thinks Bruno did it, but she did not tell Cassandra that directly. Ika said she can go bring Cassandra in and ask her in front of the group if she ever said that to her. The girls said they believe Ika and there is no need to do that. Later, Neda spoke to Ika about last night’s nominations. Neda said she thought it was clear that Cassandra and Jackie would be going on the block. Ika said she knew it was happening because Neda told here that it would be. However, Ika swore to God that she thought Dillon and Emily were going to go up before that. Neda was surprised. She explained that Dillon is good with everyone in the alliance except for Ika, while Cassandra is good with no one in the alliance except for Ika. Ika said that’s true.
12:00-1:00 PM: Dre told Jackie that it would have been stupid of Cassandra to throw their names out there, so she is not sure what to believe. Jackie said Cassandra has made deals with every single person. Dre said she felt that Cassandra was smarter than that. Dre told Jackie that it easy to pin everything on Cassandra when other people have been lying as well. Dre said she wants to make sure that their vision is not being clouded. Jackie let Dre know about a conversation that she just had with Cassandra. She said Cassandra asked if she is mad at her, so she told her that she kind of is because she threw her under the bus. Jackie said she then walked out after telling Cassandra that she thinks everything she says is a lie. Jackie told Dre that she feels stupid because other people were shutting her out because of Cassandra. Jackie mentioned that she always had a good feeling about Kevin, but Kevin likely held back due to her association with Cassandra. Jackie suggested that Dre and William speak to Kevin and Bruno. Dre questioned who will go on the block if they all have each other’s backs. Jackie said it will come down to who they fully trust. In the HoH room, Bruno, Ika, Kevin, Neda and Sindy discussed their alliance with Demetres. Ika began spilling information to the group. She said Gary tells her that Neda is not her friend. Sindy revealed that the first thing Gary said to her when she walked in is that he wants to work with her. Ika said Gary told her the exact same thing. After everyone else cleared out, Ika told Kevin that she wants to win the veto because Cassandra has to go, and also because she wants to prove her loyalty to the group. Meanwhile, Dre told Cassandra that Neda told Jackie about Cassandra throwing her name out there. Cassandra said she told Neda to nominate Dillon and Emily. Cassandra said Neda is telling Jackie what she wants to hear because she wants her to turn against her. Cassandra figures that Jackie would now vote her out, even over Karen, if she wins the veto. Dre told Cassandra about how Jackie is saying they couldn’t connect with Bruno and Kevin because their judgment was clouded. Dre was not buying it. Cassandra said Bruno and Kevin think they are so good that they are going undetected, so she is a target now because she is on to them.
2:00-3:00 PM: Gary asked Jackie what happened between her and Cassandra. Jackie said Cassandra told Neda to put her on the block. Gary asked if it was true or if it was something that Neda just created. Jackie said Cassandra didn’t try to defend herself when she confronted her about it. Jackie then talked about Cassandra having made alliances with multiple people which does not make her feel comfortable. Jackie said people don’t want to trust her fully due to her association with Cassandra. Jackie told Gary she doesn’t know why she couldn’t see it earlier when Cassandra tried to get her to lie for her. Jackie said she never expected Cassandra to tell Neda to put her on the block. Jackie mentioned that she knows Gary is close to Cassandra. Gary said he his not. He explained that he likes to be alone, but Cassandra latched on to him. Gary said he will get a chance to be how he really is once Cassandra is gone. Jackie said she feels like a lone wolf. Gary said the lone wolfs could possibly morph into a different animal. Jackie told Gary that they can see what happens this week, then talk and open up. Gary agreed. He told Jackie that he is very selfish and does not want to share her if they are going to have each other’s backs. He explained that he wants to know that all his information is staying with Jackie and her information is staying with him.
3:00-4:00 PM: Gary told Ika he thinks that he needs to speak to Bruno and pin things on Cassandra. He said he got the idea from Jackie. Gary figured that he needs to work on repairing that relationship. Gary also suggested that they try to build something with Jackie if she stays. Ika disagreed, saying that Jackie is fake. Gary pointed out that they do not want Jackie to nominate them if she wins HoH. The two discussed that Dre wants Cassandra to stay. Both agreed that she needs to stop. Gary said he is going to put it in Neda’s head that Dre wants Cassandra to stay, in hope of getting Dre to be the replacement nominee over him if it comes down to it. Up in the HoH room, Ika confronted Cassandra about telling Jackie that she said Bruno started the rumours. Cassandra denied it. Cassandra said if she doesn’t win the veto, she will leave with her head held high. Cassandra is frustrated that people are lying about her and that she has been blamed for everything that has gone wrong in the game. Ika said it seems as though Neda told Jackie that Cassandra threw her name out there. Cassandra thinks that Neda twisted her words. Cassandra said Jackie is an idiot for going to Neda’s side, since they will cut her the first chance they get. Afterwards, Ika told Demetres, Neda, Sindy and Bruno about Cassandra crying to her. Ika said Cassandra is claiming that Jackie is lying. Neda said they are not lies. Neda said Cassandra is so petty and she was attempting to block her from studying the memory wall photos. In the bathroom, Gary spoke to Bruno about what he heard in terms of Cassandra saying Bruno was the one to throw his and Ika’s names out there to Mark. Bruno denied it. The two discussed that Cassandra has been keeping them apart. Gary said they could work together and no one would ever suspect it. Bruno agreed. Bruno then spoke to Dre about the lies that Cassandra has been spewing. Dre said she doesn’t think that there are any problems between the two of them. She mentioned that she would expect Bruno to come to her if there are. Bruno said that’s why he is talking to her right now in order to clear things up. Bruno said he is not coming after Dre. He also said he will not be voting for Cassandra to stay. After the talk ended, Dre said to herself that she does not believe what Bruno was saying.
12:00-1:00 AM: Feeds returned long after the veto competition had ended. William won the Power of Veto. Neda told Sindy that she hopes they don’t look bad for all rooting for Cassandra to lose. Sindy said Cassandra has a bit of a reputation as a fight, but she thinks a part of Cassandra doesn’t care anymore. Neda said Cassandra doesn’t want to be there. Kevin spoke to Jackie to reassure her that she has nothing to worry about this week. Kevin said part of him was wondering if it was morally wrong how everyone was heavily rooting against Cassandra during the competition. Kevin wondered how many people Dre has sway with, as word got around that Dre wanted to keep Cassandra. Jackie said Dre is close with Ika and William. Jackie told Kevin that she would be devastated if William flipped. Kevin said he doesn’t see any way that they get six votes to keep Cassandra. Cassandra and Dre spoke in the have-not room. Dre said she is sad. She let Cassandra know that William is not going to use the veto. Dre explained that William already told Neda that he will not use it. She said it is unlikely that he will change his mind. Dre told Cassandra that William is worried she would go on the block if he were to use the veto. Cassandra said Karen would be the replacement nominee. Cassandra said they are loyal to William, whereas Jackie wants to work with Kevin and Bruno who do not care about them. Dre said she does not think that William would vote for Cassandra over Jackie. Cassandra thought that William would vote with Dre. Dre disagreed. Cassandra said her only play is to have William use the veto on her. She said she is not the same person as a year ago, now that she has a career. Cassandra said she cannot be having big blowup fights. She wondered if she should throw in the towel and let down the fans that wanted her to come back, or fight to stay. Dre told her that she wants to fight and wants to stay. Cassandra suggested that they sit William down and she will fake cry in hope of getting him to use the veto. Dre then went to get William. However, William did not come down to talk to Cassandra. Cassandra and Dre discussed waiting until tomorrow.
1:00-2:00 AM: Cassandra and William spoke in the have-not room. Cassandra said she thinks she is in this position because she is the only one that will stand up and fight for things. Cassandra said she isn’t sure if she should even bother fighting. William said Cassandra will be disappointed if she does not fight. Cassandra talked about Jackie throwing her under the bus. William said Cassandra kind of threw them under the bus as well. Cassandra asked how. William said many people told him that she wants them out. Cassandra said that’s BS. William asked Cassandra if she has said his name. Cassandra said she did not. William told her that many people are saying she did. Cassandra said she came in with a target on her back because she was on last season, then Bruno, Kevin and Neda have all wanted her out and will create lies about her. Cassandra said she is the most loyal person yet people continually blame her for everything. Cassandra fake cried as planned, saying she has thought about giving up since the lies about her will only continue if she stays. William said he cannot use the veto on Cassandra since people would come after him if he were to do that. Cassandra disagreed and said they would come after her and then go after Ika as well. Cassandra said her loyalty lies with Dre and William. Bruno then broke up the talk before the discussion could get any further.
