Big Brother 21 Day 8 - Christie nominates Cliff and Kathryn for eviction

June 26, 2019

9:00-10:00 PM: The live feeds launched following the episode airing on the west coast. Not long after, it was revealed that Christie had nominated Cliff and Kathryn for eviction. Kathryn spoke to Jessica about the need to win the veto. She said that she will be choosing Jackson to compete for her if she gets houseguest’s choice. Kathryn checked in with Jackson to ensure that the plan was still fine with him. Jackson reassured Kathryn that he will be playing to win if he is selected, and he will be using the veto on one of the nominees. Kathryn and Holly then briefly chatted. Holly felt as though Jackson had been acting weird. She figured that it might be a case of Jackson not trusting her. Kathryn claimed that Jackson wants to work with both of them but he does not want to put a target on them, especially with a backdoor plan in place. Later, Jessica revealed to Kathryn that she caught Bella and Jackson whispering in the storage room. She believes that Jackson is in an alliance but she does not know who else is involved. Jessica suggested that Kathryn be careful with Jackson.

10:00-11:00 PM: Kathryn confronted Jackson about possibly conspiring against her. Jackson denied it. Kathryn brought up that Jessica walked in on Bella and Jackson talking. Jackson said they were talking about a few of them moving in together following the show. Kathryn mentioned that Bella gives her dirty looks whenever she is with Jackson. Kathryn then asked about the plan for the veto. Jackson assured her that she will be fine as long as they can keep the veto out of Kemi’s hands, as Kemi will then go out the backdoor. Jackson added that people want Kemi and Ovi out of the house since they genuinely do not like them.

11:00-12:00 AM: Holly and Jackson discussed that Jack is very close with Christie. Jackson said it’s to the point where if he won power in week three, he would take a shot at Christie. He quickly backtracked to say that he would not take a shot at her. Holly pointed out that those two will be running the house if things keep going as they are now. Jackson said he could totally see Christie and Jack being in a relationship. Holly agreed. Jackson mentioned that Jack is the only person that he trusts fully in the house, but Jack ran straight to Christie when he confided in him. Later, Kemi asked Bella if she has heard anyone mention her name. Bella said no, but they both agreed it’s unlikely that anyone would say Kemi’s name to Bella. When Bella asked if Kemi thinks that she will be chosen to compete, Kemi said she hopes not. Bella questioned her further to find out if she really doesn’t want to compete. Kemi explained that she would throw the competition and she doesn’t want to have to engage in the initial conversations about whether or not she would use the veto.

12:00-1:00 AM: Feeds went down at 12:12. Players were picked for the veto competition. Feeds returned at 12:37. The Veto players are Christie, Cliff, Kathryn, Jack, Nicole and Sam. Jack spoke to Nick and Sam about the plan. They talked about using the veto on Cliff, and then targeting Kemi. Jack guaranteed that Nicole would use the veto on Cliff should she happen to win it. In the HoH room, Analyse and Christie celebrated that the plan is working perfectly. They discussed that it doesn’t matter who wins the veto. Christie brought up that Cliff had wanted Nicole to get picked because she said that she would use the veto on him. Christie asked if they should be nervous about Kemi being on the block next to Kathryn as opposed to Cliff. Analyse said no. She then listed off the votes that they would have to evict Kemi.

1:00-2:00 AM: Jessica told Nicole she expects that whoever wins the veto will go to Christie to see what she would like to have happen. Nicole agreed. Jessica said she can’t see Christie wanting to get more blood on her hands by nominating another person. Elsewhere, Christie spoke to Kathryn about her being safe no matter who wins the veto. Christie said sh would use the veto on Kathryn if she wins it. She also said that she will throw the competition to Kathryn if it comes down to the two of them. In the HoH room, Analyse and Holly talked about Jack scaring them in the game. Holly noted that he is so good with his words, he knows how to make people feel special, and he is beautiful. Analyse agreed and said that she would like to take him out first once they get down to the eight.

2:00-3:00 AM: Tommy told Christie he is really believing that they can get to the Final 2 together. He said he has thought about how everyone will react when they find out that they knew each other. Both agreed that they wouldn’t care who got first and who got second at that point. Tommy revealed that he doesn’t plan to win any competitions for a bit, though he doesn’t want to let anyone else know about that. Tommy is concerned that he will be one of the first targets once they get down to the eight, but Christie disagreed. Christie then headed to the HoH room. She let Holly know that she plans to bring up that Kemi played too hard too fast when she makes her speech to nominate her. She added that more than half of the house had heard Kemi was dropping their names.
