Big Brother 21 Day 31 - Cliff nominates Jack and Jackson

July 19, 2019

10:00-10:30 AM: When Cliff first woke up, Nick headed to the HoH room to speak to him. He let Cliff know that nominations are today. Nick mentioned that they all got blindsided last night. Cliff said that he would still like to work with Nick but there are people trying to throw them under the bus. Cliff explained that enough people have thrown him under the bus for him to realize that Bella and Nick are not part of the bigger group. Cliff suggested that one of the six likely has to go. Nick said he already let Bella know that he is taking his shot next week because he would rather take one of them down with him. Cliff said that he is thinking the same thing right now. Cliff let Nick know that he does not want to put him and Bella up. Nick told Cliff that Christie and Jack were the masterminds behind the vote flip. Cliff worried that Christie would use her power in order to nominate someone like Sam or Jess, and then the group of six would have the numbers. Nick said that he will be nominating Jack and Jackson if he wins HoH next week. Cliff revealed that Jack could very well be his target.

10:30-11:00 AM: Cliff told Sam that he trusts his judgment more than anyone. Sam said that he is still on the bottom, which is worrying him. Cliff revealed that Nick and Bella want him to go after the others, and vice versa. Cliff explained that he does not want to remain someone in the pecking order. Sam let Cliff know that people have messed up and dropped an alliance name in front of him, so he knows for a fact that he is not a part of the alliance. He clarified that it is a group of eight. Sam told Cliff that he would have been gone had Jack won HoH. Sam told Cliff that he will be gone next week if he does not make a big move. Cliff said that it will not do him any good to take out someone like Kat or Jess. Sam suggested that the numbers are in Cliff’s favour if he tries to make a big move. Sam mentioned that he has had conversations with Christie about backing up someone who would be willing to take a shot at someone like Jack. Sam listed off a number of people who would like to see Jack leave first when a shot is taken. Sam told Cliff that Nick and Bella have made it very clear that they do not want to work with the majority. Cliff worried that Christie and Jack are pretty tight. While Sam acknowledged that they are, he said that he has had numerous conversations with Christie about targeting Jack. Sam said that he would like to bring Christie and Tommy in if he decides to make a move against Jack and Jackson, or Jack and Analyse. Cliff revealed that Jack is near the very top of his list. Sam said that Cliff can pick him to play in the veto competition, and he will honour Cliff’s wishes if he happens to win it.

11:00-11:30 AM: Bella was the next to speak to Cliff. She said that even if it’s the last thing that she does, she will not leave the game without trying to take one of them down. Cliff said that this may be his only shot, and he does not want to remain at the bottom of the pecking order. Bella mentioned that the six have no reason to go after each other when they have the rest of them to target first. Cliff pointed out that Bella, Nick and Sam need to be on the same page as Jess and Nicole. Bella assured Cliff that Nick, Sam and herself will support him. Cliff said his fear is that a power could be used in order to put someone from the smaller groups on the block, but he doesn’t have a choice but to try to make a move anyway. Cliff said that he didn’t have anything against anyone, but now he has got to do what he has to do. He added that he cannot see his path moving forward not including Bella, Nick and Sam. Cliff said that he is not thinking of having Christie as his primary target. Cliff talked about hoping to get Christie and Tommy to support him. Bella pointed out that she and Nick got burned by them. Bella said that she likely would have nominated Jack next to Christie, and then put Jackson or Analyse up if a replacement nominee was needed. When Cliff mentioned Jack and Tommy as potential nominations, amongst other options, Bella said that that particular pairing would ensure that Jack leaves.

1:00-2:00 PM: Cliff spoke to Analyse. He let her know that he does not want to target her. Next up, Tommy came by. Cliff said he would hope that he and Christie would not make it come back to bite him if he keeps them safe this week. Tommy assured Cliff that they would not be coming after him. Cliff explained that he will not be putting up anyone who he considers to be an outsider. Cliff asked if there is anyone who Tommy could not vote against. Tommy said no. Cliff admitted that he fears leaving the six people in the game who voted against him even though he doesn’t feel that he can necessarily trust Nick and Bella. Tommy said that it’s not Cliff’s job to target those two. Cliff talked about nominating Jack next to either Analyse or Jackson. He mentioned that Jackson put him up for banishment, so he has justification for making that move. Cliff let Tommy know that he would not be blood on his hands if Christie’s power were to result in Nick or Bella ending up on the block. Tommy said he believes that it would be best for all of their games. After Tommy finished his chat, Christie took her turn. Christie brought up that Bella and Nick flipped on the group of eight early on, and she does not like what they did to Nicole. Christie said that Sam had approached her to ask if she would vote Jack or Jackson out, which she believed that he was using as a test, but she did not say that she would vote them out. Cliff revealed that Bella and Nick are not necessarily going to be his targets this week, so that’s where Sam was coming from. Christie said that she would be the first to go from the group of six, so she is trusting Cliff in whatever he would like to do. Cliff said that he does not want to target Christie or Tommy.

2:00-3:00 PM: Cliff told Sam that he is leaning towards having Jack as his primary target this week with Jackson as the potential secondary target. Cliff said that he would like to work with Sam, Nick and Bella. He hopes to get Christie and Tommy to at least understand the move that he is making, if not get their support in it. Sam said that the best case scenario would be Jack leaving. Cliff said that he has to take a shot or else they will be picked off one by one. Downstairs, Christie told her allies that the power is the only thing that they have. She talked about Bella needing to go on the block. Analyse stressed that they have got to win the veto. Jackson said that Cliff can either have 6-8 people on his side or he can have those same 6-8 people gunning for him. Analyse suggested that Cliff would be dumb to send Jack home. Christie argued that it is not a dumb move since it would leave them with five against Cliff, Nick, Bella, Sam, Jess, and possibly Kat and Nicole as well. Jack pointed out that they served up Cliff’s ideal alliance on a silver platter, as he had wanted to work with Nick, Bella and Sam. Up in the HoH room, Cliff reassured Holly that he does not want her or Jackson to go home this week. He added that if Jackson were to go on the block, it would be as a pawn. Meanwhile, Sam told Christie that he talked to Cliff about this being his opportunity to turn the minority into the majority. Christie said that she will vote however Cliff wants her to. She brought up that Jack and Jackson will be on her to use her power if they go up, but she is not going to use it. Christie said that it would result in her lasting another week or two only to be cut at that point. Jackson spoke to Cliff to let him know that Ovi had the power. He said that Ovi had asked him to let him know, and to explain that he did not tell him because he had wanted to protect Cliff’s game. Cliff then talked about his plan for the week. He said that there is a battle between his emotional side and his rational side. He did make it clear that he does not want Jackson or Holly to leave this week.

3:00-4:00 PM: Nicole talked to Cliff about feeling as though both sides are trying to pull her in. Cliff explained that he does not respect Bella and Nick’s game but he thinks that he is going to have to work with them this week. He added that he is too afraid of the six staying together. Nicole said that she understands that. They discussed that they will remain on the bottom if the six stay in the house. Cliff told Nicole that Jack is going to be his primary target. Nick checked in with Cliff. Nick talked about wanting to take the six down with him if he is going to be leaving. He talked about wanting to go after Jackson next if he they are able to get Jack out this week. After that, he said that it would be Christie and Tommy who are up next on the chopping block. Before nominations, Tommy made a final pitch to Cliff. He suggested nominating one from each side. He told Cliff that he was not going to be the target any time soon. Cliff said that he is still considering it, but he said otherwise to the cameras once Tommy had left the room.

5:00-6:00 PM: Christie told Analyse, Nick and Tommy that she almost wont have a choice but to use her power. She said it sucks that she will not be able to use it on herself when she needs it. Once Christie and Nick were alone, Nick asked if she would actually use the power. Christie said no. She told Nick to keep his mouth shut. Christie said that her explanation for not using the power will be that she does not like being bullied by a guy and being told what to do, which she expects to happen. Nick said Cliff told him that Christie and Tommy were the only ones who didn’t throw his name out there. Christie said that she would never do that. Bella joined them. Christie reiterated that her reason for not using the power will be that so much pressure is being put on her to use it. In the bathroom, Kat told Holly and Jackson that Cliff was telling her that he would like to work with the two of them. Holly pointed out that Cliff is making his bed with Nick and Bella. She advised Kat to get in with them. Jackson added that they did not have Kat vote with them for that very reason. He talked about the need for there to be tension between them in the eyes of others. Kat asked if she can take Jackson off of the block if she wins the veto. He said yes. Elsewhere, Jack told Christie that he will not be going after Cliff if he wins HoH next week. When Christie said that Bella, Nick and Sam will not use the veto, Jack mentioned that he will force a redraw of the veto players. In the boat room, Nick told Sam that Jack has got to go. He is not convinced that Christie will not use the power. Nick said that he plans to nominate Holly and Jackson if he wins HoH next week. If he needs a replacement nominee, he said that it would either be Christie or Tommy. Nick told Sam that they have no choice but to trust Cliff, Jess and Kat at this point, since the others have already burned them.

6:00-7:00 PM: Christie talked to Cliff, Jess and Tommy about wanting to use her power in a way that not only benefits her but the HoH. She said that she would not want to be bamboozled if she had won HoH. Once Cliff left the room, Tommy said that this is not right. He said that he is disappointed in Cliff considering that Cliff was not going to go up for a while. Christie said that Cliff did not know that and he was also just voted out. Christie later talked about being expendable to the guys. She said that she will not throw her game on the line for someone who has shown an ugly side to them and acts like they are president of the food and the kitchen, referring to Jackson. On top of that, she said that it would be foolish of her to assume that the guys would take her to the end when they have made Final 2 and Final 3 deals with everyone. Nick checked in with Cliff to ask if Analyse had mentioned his name. Cliff said he doesn’t think that she did. Nick said that the other side might look like the better group but they have not done much. As for their group of misfits, Nick said that Cliff, Sam and himself have all won something, plus Jess has come close twice, and Kat killed the veto competition. Nick told Cliff that he wants to get Jack out and then target Jackson next.

8:00-9:00 PM: Cliff told Nicole that if something happens and Nick or Bella end up on the block due to a power, they will have to just roll with it. Cliff brought up that if they are able to get Jack out, there is no one on that side that has proved to be able to do much competition wise outside of Christie. Cliff and Nicole discussed that they need to stick together. Cliff let Nicole know that he has distance himself from her by saying that they were only connected through Ovi. He suggested that she can work with the one side of the house while he keeps tabs on the other. Nicole feels as though Nick and Bella are no longer that mad at her. Cliff agreed. He said that he would like to get rid of them at some point, but they have to work on lowering the other numbers first.

9:00-10:00 PM: Christie told Tommy that Bella is still public enemy number one in her eyes. Tommy said that he would be going after Cliff and Sam if he were to win HoH. Christie prefers to split up Nick and Bella before going after Sam. Tommy suggested that they could get the eight back together if they go after Cliff and Sam. Christie argued that they will not stand a chance if they are going up against three couples. Tommy said that they are likely going to lose one of the six this week. Both agreed that they would prefer to see Jackson go over Jack. Christie asked Tommy how he feels about her power. Tommy said that they could get Sam, Nick or Bella out now. Christie said that she will only use it to put Bella up, and if it means that Jack would be safe. When Jack came by, Christie asked him who should go up. Jack said that it should be Bella unless she wants to be an animal and send Sam out the door. They worried that people may not vote to evict Sam.

10:00-11:00 PM: Christie told Tommy that she will use her power if someone is going to use the veto on Jack. She worried that Cliff may put her on the block if not. However she said that she does not want to use it in order to save Jackson, which Tommy was fine with. Later, Tommy told Analyse that he would like to get Nick and Bella back on their side. He said that Cliff and Sam are the two biggest threats and therefore they need to go.

11:00-12:00 AM: Jack talked to Analyse, Christie, Jackson and Tommy about his power. He let them know that he may use it tomorrow. Jackson believes that it is a huge power to have this week considering how important the veto competition is. Jack said that he plans to use it if fewer than two of their Six Shooters allies are randomly drawn. Jackson told Jack that Kat would be another good one to have playing because she really wants him off of the block. Tommy told Jack and Jackson that Cliff and Sam had two separate one hour long conversations. Tommy said that Sam handed Jack and Jackson to Cliff on a silver platter. Jack asked Jackson who he would nominate if he had the opportunity to choose the replacement nominee. Jackson said Sam. While the group was chatting in the have-not room, Tommy asked if any of them had cast the rogue vote. Jackson admitted that it was him.
