Big Brother 20 Day 52 - Haleigh nominates Angela and Kaycee; Kaycee wins hacker
August 10, 2018
9:00-10:00 AM: Haleigh had some doubts about her plan to nominate Angela and Kaycee. Rockstar brought up to Haleigh that it could be more balanced if she were to nominate JC next to Angela. She said that when Faysal flips out, she can tell him that he can take JC down. Haleigh said that’s a thought. Haleigh said the only thing is that Faysal said they have JC for now. Rockstar said she isn’t telling her to nominate JC, but she could let him know that he is obviously not the target. Haleigh said she kind of wants to nominate Angela and Kaycee together so that one of them will be up regardless. Rockstar hopes that it will be Angela. Downstairs, Angela told Kaycee she is worried that she told Scottie about Faysal and Haleigh pitching to put him and Tyler on the block next to each other. She thinks that Scottie told Haleigh. Tyler joined them. He said he hopes that two of them aren’t nominated. Angela said she has a feeling that it will be JC and Sam. Back up in the HoH room, Haleigh told Scottie that he needs to let her know if he wins the hacker competition. She said she has a move in mind that they can make, but she doesn’t want to say it right now. She let him know that it is not Tyler. Haleigh said she had a good conversation with Tyler last night and she let him know that she doesn’t appreciate that he think she is playing Scottie.
10:00-11:00 AM: Scottie told Haleigh that Sam is always talking about how she doesn’t want to be there, yet she decided she wants to play the game the second that the girl who she nominated wins HoH. He said Sam went to Rockstar, the person who Haleigh is close to, to do it. He said he smells smoke. Haleigh asked if Sam would be a better nominee. Scottie said no. Haleigh said she could nominate Sam instead of Kaycee if she wins the hacker competition. Scottie said he was thinking of putting Kaycee up if he wins it. Haleigh asked who Scottie thinks she is nominating. He thought she was nominated JC or Sam next Angela. Haleigh mentioned that she was considering nominating Angela and Kaycee but she doesn’t know if it’s the smartest move. She did bring up that Sam extended an olive branch, which is why Scottie said it’s not best to put Sam up initially. However, he told Haleigh it’s false if Sam is saying that she has not been making deals. Haleigh said she is not even gunning for Tyler at this point, and her first target will be Sam if she finds out that what she has been saying is not real. When Haleigh told Scottie to be careful with JC, Scottie said he had planned to nominate JC and Sam if he won HoH. Haleigh asked why he would nominate Sam. Scottie said he doesn’t trust her, he is sick of her complaining about not wanting to be there, and she gets called to the diary room every morning. Elsewhere, Tyler checked in with Sam. He told her that all he ever wants to do is talk to her, but he isn’t for game reasons since he doesn’t want them to be viewed as together. He said Sam didn’t talk to him for two days, and he had to get Kaycee to get her to talk to him. Back upstairs, Scottie told Faysal that JC was upstairs saying he was voting Bayleigh out all week last week. He also said JC is pitching that Faysal and Haleigh are in a secret showmance. Feeds went down at 10:16 for the nomination ceremony.
11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds returned at 11:15 following the nomination ceremony. Haleigh nominated Angela and Kaycee for eviction. Tyler told Angela and Kaycee that he is getting backdoored. Angela told him not to freak out. Angela and Kaycee discussed that Haleigh made a dumb move by nominating people who were not going after her. Upstairs, Faysal and Scottie compared notes. Haleigh joined them. Faysal said JC claims that Haleigh went to Brett to tell him that she kept him even though she didn’t. Haleigh said she did not tell JC that. Scottie said JC is trying to get them to be pissed at each other, and it worked cause he was sketched out by Faysal for the past couple of days. Faysal said JC would tell him to stop being stupid since Bayleigh and Haleigh are clearly working together with out him. Scottie said JC told him the same about Faysal and Haleigh, calling them a secret showmance. Scottie said JC was always making jokes about them being in a showmance. Haleigh asked Faysal if it ever occurs to him that JC is possibly making stuff up and telling them the same things that he is telling the other side. Faysal said he hates having to do this to JC, because he wants to trust him. Scottie said JC clearly doesn’t hate doing it to them. Haleigh asked Faysal, Rockstar and Scottie if they can agree that the four of them will trust each other. They all agreed. JC stopped by. He mentioned that Haleigh got more blood on her hands by making this move than she would have had she nominated Sam. Faysal asked the group if they can agree that they will keep the nominations the same if they win the hacker competition. Haleigh said they will keep it the same. Rockstar agreed. JC said he thought that you had to change a nominee if you win the hacker competition, which is why he suggested putting Sam up. Meanwhile, Tyler told Kaycee that he will take her down and put Rockstar up if he wins the hacker completion. Angela joined them. Tyler said the plan is to backdoor him. He said he pitched to Haleigh that she can either give him two chances to compete, or she can backdoor him. He said to trust him because it’s a good thing that Haleigh is trying to backdoor him. Haleigh pulled Brett in to the HoH room. She said she would like him to keep nominations the same if he wins the hacker competition. Brett agreed. Elsewhere, Tyler told JC he cannot believe that he is not on the block. JC said Haleigh his coming for Tyler. Tyler said he knows that. JC said he will try to convince her to go after someone else. He thinks that Haleigh is doing whatever Scottie wants.
12:00-1:00 PM: Angela told Tyler she wonders if Brett knew anything. Tyler said he doesn’t think that he did. Tyler let Angela know that Brett thinks they have lost Sam for sure. Tyler told Angela he is thinking about picking whoever he takes down out of Angela and Kaycee to play in the veto competition if he wins the hacker competition. He said that person could then win the veto and save the other, and they will be okay if Haleigh tries to backdoor him. Angela said she wouldn’t use the veto if she wins it, because they would have the numbers if Rockstar is on the block. Tyler said they would have the two of them, Brett and JC voting to keep Kaycee if she is up against Rockstar, but they will not have the numbers if they don’t win the hacker competition. In the have-not room, Angela told Kaycee she thinks that they should nominate Sam instead of Rockstar. She thinks that Sam might ask to be voted out if she is on the block. Angela said Sam is a number for the other side. Kaycee argued that Rockstar is a solid vote for the other side, but Sam may vote either way. Kaycee is more confident that Sam would keep her than she is that she would keep Angela. Kaycee said to let her sit on the block with Rockstar if they win the hacker competition.
1:00-2:00 PM: Angela and Kaycee went over their plan with Tyler. Tyler said he thinks that Sam would keep Kaycee over Rockstar but she would not keep Angela over Rockstar. Tyler told Angela that Sam made a comment about how “Angela is better for you. I can tell”. Tyler said Sam told him that she never wanted him as more than just a friend. Kaycee told Angela that she is getting off of the block. Tyler said he thinks that Sam thinks he is in love with Angela now that she used the veto on him. Tyler told Angela and Kaycee that the best case scenario is one of them win the veto if the nominations stay the same. Kaycee said Tyler could win and save one of them as well. Tyler agreed. He told them that as long as he isn’t replaced by the hacker, they are going to be good even though it makes no sense right now.
3:00-4:00 PM: Kaycee won the hacker competition. Kaycee told Angela that she will have to keep nominations the same even if she wins the veto. She said Angela will for sure be good. Angela said she hopes she wins the veto and keeps it the same, but they have the numbers either way. Angela said they will be good as long as Rockstar doesn’t win the veto. Kaycee said they have to make sure that Faysal or Scottie don’t get picked for the veto. Kaycee said Tyler is for sure going to play, implying that she will pick him. Tyler. Tyler came by. Kaycee let him know that she won. She said not to tell JC or Sam. Kaycee said only the four Level 6 members can know. Afterwards, Angela and Kaycee discussed that it might be best not to let Brett know either. Elsewhere, Haleigh speculated that Kaycee won because the cameras were on her booth during the competition, plus she heard jumping up and down coming from her as well. Haleigh asked Kaycee if she won. Kaycee denied it. Haleigh told Kaycee that she was not her target. Haleigh went up to the HoH room. She told Faysal she is willing to bet money that Kaycee won, though she denied it to her.
4:00-5:00 PM: Faysal told Haleigh the good news is that he will get to play in the veto competition if he is nominated. Haleigh said she could see them nominating Rockstar because she wont win the veto. Haleigh then went through other scenarios, such as Scottie potentially being the hacker. She also questioned why Rockstar is being so calm right now. Back downstairs, Kaycee told Angela that they needed this more than anything. Kaycee thinks that people will know she was the hacker once she comes off of the block. Angela wondered who they should try to make it look like. Kaycee suggested that Sam might be someone who would take her down. Angela said she will look at Sam and JC when it happens. Later, Haleigh told Kaycee she thought she had won. Kaycee denied it. Haleigh said she was going to get Kaycee to make a move if it was her, but by that point the nomination had already been locked in. Kaycee asked about why she was nominated. Haleigh said Scottie came to her about Angela telling him the plan to put him up next to Tyler. Haleigh said Scottie told her that Kaycee was saying the same thing. Kaycee said she was barely even up there, and she can go talk to Scottie right now. Haleigh told her not to do that. Haleigh explained that Kaycee is not her target but she had to nominate two people. She said that Kaycee voting to evict Bayleigh scared her. Kaycee pointed out that Haleigh voted her out too. Haleigh said she found out that everyone else was. Kaycee explained that she cares about Bayleigh but they were always on opposite sides. Before the talk wrapped up, Haleigh asked that Kaycee not go to Scottie with what she said, because he will then lose trust in her. Haleigh also said she would take Kaycee down if given the choice, but don’t tell Angela that.
5:00-6:00 PM: The hacker ceremony took place. Kaycee took herself off of the block. She nominated Rockstar in her place. Faysal told Rockstar to pick him if she gets to choose someone to play in the veto competition. Sam came by and said that she would be willing to play for Rockstar as well. Tyler swore to Haleigh that he is not the hacker. Haleigh said she believes him but she doesn’t get why Rockstar would go up when she hasn’t won a competition and she is not coming after anyone. Haleigh said she will need Tyler to play very hard if he gets picked to play in the veto competition. Tyler said he will. Elsewhere, Kaycee filled Angela in on what Haleigh said about Scottie. Kaycee said she would have liked to put Scottie up but it was not the best move. Tyler joined them. Kaycee asked him if he is fine with her choosing him to play in the veto competition. Tyler said he is good with that. Tyler said the best case scenario is Kaycee wins the veto and uses it on Angela. Kaycee then told Brett that she won the hacker competition. Brett said she made the best move. Kaycee stressed the need to win the veto and keep the nominations the same. Brett headed to the HoH room. Haleigh said she thinks that Kaycee is the hacker. She said Angela is going home if nominations stay the same, which Brett agreed with. Haleigh admitted she thought for a second that Brett is the hacker. Brett said he isn’t. Haleigh said she believes it. Haleigh thinks that Kaycee is the hacker. She said she cannot think of a single person who would not use the veto. Haleigh said she wants the veto to be used and she doesn’t care who it is used on. Haleigh thinks that Kaycee might pick Tyler to play if she is the hacker, though that would be dumb since Tyler could win, take Angela down, and then Kaycee goes back up. Brett said he thinks that Kaycee would pick herself if she is the hacker. Haleigh then spoke to Faysal and Rockstar. They discussed that the hacker is most likely Kaycee. Faysal said she is likely denying it because she doesn’t want to be the replacement nominee. Haleigh said Kaycee will likely be the replacement nominee, because she is pissed. Haleigh said she will sit Kaycee back down next to Angela if Rockstar gets taken down. Faysal asked if she doesn’t want to go after Tyler anymore. Haleigh said she is pissed because she told Kaycee that she was not a target and she didn’t have to worry. Downstairs, Sam and Tyler talked things over. Sam explained that she is worried about regretting doing this. She said she doesn’t want to look stupid. Sam admitted that it’s all in her head when she thinks that people are making fun of her, so she needs to stop thinking like that. Tyler told Sam she needs to suck it up. He said Sam is there because she is herself, and she has done every single thing right so far. Tyler told Sam that millions of people want to be there, plus Sam is doing this for all of her fans, so she is not a victim in this. He went on to say that she has done such a good job. Sam said she hasn’t done anything. Tyler said being herself has been good enough to get her this far, and it will get her even further. Tyler told Sam she is one of the best people that he has ever met. He added that he cannot see her like this, so remember this conversation the next time she is feeling off.
6:00-7:00 PM: Sam told Tyler she knows there is something that is causing him some sort of tear. She said she doesn’t like it. Tyler promised that he is good. Sam then let Tyler know that she felt as though something was off way back when she re-entered the house as a person. She said it felt like Tyler was keeping something from her or lying to her, maybe to protect her. Sam explained that she heard a sound around him last night. She said it was like a rattlesnake. She mentioned that he is so quiet and barely breathes, and she wants him to feel better. Tyler promised that he feels fine. He said it sucked getting screamed at and having personal shots taken at him. He said it was a planned thing to make him a target. Sam agreed. Tyler said he couldn’t defend himself because he wasn’t going to yell over someone. At the end of the conversation, Tyler said he is going to have to use his power this week if he doesn’t win the veto. In the storage room, JC asked Tyler if he is the hacker. Tyler said no. JC said nobody thinks that it’s Tyler, as they all believe that it is either Brett or Kaycee. Tyler expected everyone to think that it’s him if is picked to play in the veto competition. JC gave Tyler a heads up that his name has been in Haleigh’s mouth. He said that is going to wait until after the veto competition to say something. Angela then checked in with Tyler. She told him that he needs to win the veto. Tyler said he is going to. Upstairs, Haleigh told Rockstar and Scottie that Kaycee will be going back up if Tyler wins the veto and uses it on Angela. Scottie said Tyler would much rather have Angela than Kaycee. Rockstar agreed. Haleigh told Scottie she let Kaycee know that she didn’t appreciate lies that were coming up about her having a backdoor plan for Scottie. Haleigh said Kaycee asked if Scottie told her that, but she said no.
7:00-8:00 PM: Rockstar told Haleigh and Scottie that she would prefer to get Angela out over Kaycee, cause she sees her as the link between Kaycee and Tyler. She doesn’t think that Kaycee and Tyler are committed to each other. Rockstar added that Brett is kind of distancing himself. Haleigh said she thinks that Brett knows they have the numbers and we will come to them while they have power. Scottie thinks that Brett is more reliable vote than JC is, though they hopefully don’t have to rely on the votes. Both Haleigh and Scottie believe that Brett would use the veto on Rockstar if he wins it. They talked about throwing Kaycee back up. Haleigh said she planning on Kaycee coming down, but Kaycee pissed her off by changing her nominations.
9:00-10:00 PM: Haleigh asked Tyler what he is going to do if he wins the veto. Tyler replied with “what did I tell you?”. Haleigh brought up that they had a pinky promise, so she asked if he would take Rockstar down. Tyler said if that’s what’s best. Haleigh reassured Tyler that she is not going to backdoor him even though she is sure that people are telling him that. She said she wanted her nominations to say the same all week. Elsewhere, Angela asked Sam if something is going on that she doesn’t know about, because Sam hasn’t been herself towards her. Sam said she hasn’t been herself towards anybody in there, because she hates this place. Sam said everyone makes her feel comfortable. She said that not everything is about Angela. JC spoke to Sam and told her that she is being selfish in that she is only concerned with what will stop her from stressing out, even though that will not help others. Sam said the tension in the house is bothering her. JC said it’s a social experiment and this is what they are there for.
10:00-11:00 PM: Angela spoke to Kaycee and Tyler about her confrontation with Sam. Tyler thinks that Haleigh told Sam that Angela was trying to get her on the block. Angela said she was in the room for Sam’s one on one in which she said to put her up, so all she said was that it would be a move that would not get blood on Haleigh’s hands. The three discussed that Scottie needs to go. Tyler said he would have to be backdoored. Tyler later mentioned that he is fine with backdooring Faysal or Scottie if he wins. Tyler wondered why Haleigh is telling all of them that Scottie is going back to her with whatever they say. Kaycee said she wants to call Scottie out, but Tyler said it’s not worth it. Angela also mentioned that she may say something if the nominations are locked in. Kaycee brought up that Scottie came crying to them last week, saying he would fry the other side, so they were not in the wrong for what they did. Tyler asked if he should leave nominations the same if he wins the veto. Kaycee told Tyler to use it on Angela. When Tyler pointed out that Kaycee might go up in her place, the girls said that they will have the numbers anyway. The one benefit that Tyler saw to have Kaycee on the block is that she is more likely to get Sam’s vote than Angela is. Tyler told Angela and Kaycee that Brett asked Sam if cinnamon would go with apples, and she replied by asking “why don’t you ask Angela?”. Tyler said he might try telling Sam that he tricked Angela into using the veto on him. Kaycee thinks that Sam started getting weird once that happened. Kaycee and Sam spoke one on one. Sam said she feels as though the sides have dissolved, so now it’s about who means the most to you. Sam said Rockstar is her friend. She explained that she will not tell Angela she is keeping her, because she isn’t. Sam said Kaycee can let Angela know that.
12:00-1:00 AM: JC told Tyler that Haleigh hates him for some reason. JC reassured Tyler that he has nothing to worry about with him. He said Tyler was there for him on Day 2 when he had no idea what was going on. Tyler asked if Haleigh wants to backdoor him for sure. JC said he thinks so. Tyler said she is not going to. Tyler told JC that he doesn’t even have to remind him what he is doing and why he is hanging out with the other side, cause he already knows.
1:00-2:00 AM: Tyler told JC that people are going to target him if he keeps playing both sides. JC said he has always been with Angela’s side. Tyler said he has been too. JC told Tyler he has to win the veto so that they can take Rockstar out this week. JC talked about wanting to convince Faysal to go after Brett instead of Tyler if a replacement nominee is needed. Tyler told him not to worry about it too much. Tyler said Faysal and Haleigh might tell Brett in order to reel Brett in. JC told Tyler that Sam snapped on Angela today. Tyler said Sam has been being really rude to her. Tyler talked about using the veto on Angela so that Kaycee would go back up and then Sam would vote for Kaycee to stay. JC said to leave the nominations the same. JC said the hacker needs to pick Tyler to play in the veto competition and cancel Faysal’s vote. Tyler told JC he has to vote Rockstar out no matter what. JC said to let him know if he comes up with another plan. JC said “you win competitions, I flip votes”. JC told Tyler that Sam needs to go because she is a liability. Tyler said he knows but he doesn’t think that she is a total lost cause yet. JC told Tyler he thinks that Sam is completely on the other side now. Tyler said Sam is bothered that he doesn’t check on her anymore, but it’s because everyone thinks that they have a Final 2. JC said he thinks that Sam has a crush on Brett, and then she is feeling jealous of Angela when she sees Angela with Brett. Tyler said Sam said “you and Angela are perfect for each other” to him. The houseguests received a cake with their faces on it for the halfway party. JC said Sam would not let him mess with Brett’s face, and she ate that part. Meanwhile, Sam told Rockstar she needs her to pretend they are already outside of this place, and tell her honestly what she thinks about Brett. Rockstar said Brett is growing on her like a fungus. Sam asked for Rockstar’s gut feeling about him as a person. Rockstar said he is probably a nice young man outside of the house. Sam asked if Brett has a thing for Haleigh, or if Haleigh has a thing for Brett. Rockstar said no. Sam asked if Rockstar thinks it’s part of Brett’s game to charm the girls, pitting them against each other by making them jealous. Rockstar said absolutely. Rockstar asked Sam if she wants Brett to be charming her. Sam said she doesn’t know, but she doesn’t think that Brett would be interested in her. Sam told Rockstar she is letting it get to her when it really shouldn’t. She added that she is not going to let somebody make her look stupid, but it pisses her off that he is willing to pick on her for being sensitive. Rockstar said she could understand if Sam developed a crush on somebody in this situation. Sam said “what’s not to like about him?” and “of course” but she is against any type of romantic thing in the house cause nothing is real. Sam said she is not going to have her heart ripped out on national television. Sam thinks that there is an ulterior motive, and it’s made to make her jealous. Rockstar asked if advances were made. Sam said no. She said it’s all in her mind and Brett could just be being nice to her. Sam said she has no confidence. Rockstar said she doesn’t think that Sam sees what everyone else sees in her when she looks in the mirror. Sam said she is a big fat disgusting piece of sh*t, and she wishes she was dead. Rockstar said that’s not what the rest of them see at all, and she is sorry that she feels that way. Sam said she doesn’t see how a guy like Brett could possibly be interested in her, so she thinks it’s a game thing and it’s going to end up hurting her.
