Big Brother 20 Day 45 - Angela noms Rockstar and Scottie; Tyler then goes up
August 3, 2018
11:00-12:00 PM: Feeds returned at 11:55 following the nomination ceremony. Angela nominated Rockstar and Scottie for eviction.
12:00-1:00 PM: Faysal and JC discussed their options for the week. Faysal thought that it might be a good idea to take Rockstar down if they win the hacker competition. He explained that people are against Rockstar and Angela could then nominate her again if the veto is used. JC wasn’t so sure about the plan, because he said he would rather have Scottie stay over Rockstar. Faysal said the could save Scottie then. They discussed that it’s a weird scenario since the HoH can nominate whoever is saved by the hacker competition at the veto ceremony. Faysal asked JC if he thinks that Haleigh is with him 100%. JC said she wouldn’t be talking so much game with Bayleigh and Rockstar if she was. Faysal said they are in the alliance. When JC said that Faysal likes Haleigh a lot, Faysal denied it. He said he just wants to be able to trust her. JC said it’s obvious that Faysal likes Haleigh. JC said he doesn’t want them to get in a showmance because Faysal would then pick Haleigh over him. Faysal told JC he is the person he trusts the most in the house. Faysal then spoke to Rockstar. She asked if he would use the veto if he wins it. Faysal said yeah. Rockstar said she is going to nominate Brett if she wins the hacker competition.
1:00-2:00 PM: JC let Tyler know that Faysal said he is the person he trusts the most in the house. JC said Faysal is getting paranoid. He mentioned how he talked to him about not wanting him to be in a showmance with Haleigh. JC said Haleigh might want to work with Brett since she is telling him that she kept him. Tyler said Brett wont work with her since he knows who the votes really came from. Elsewhere, Bayleigh told Haleigh that Rockstar came to her right before nominations to say she thinks that she is going up again. Bayleigh said she told Rockstar she needs to shut up if she is nominated, because she did too much talking the last time. Haleigh said Rockstar has a bad attitude and she follows her around. Bayleigh said she is following her when she his not following Haleigh. Haleigh said JC told her that it has come up about five times now that she would be a good person to nominate next to Rockstar. Feeds went down at 1:08, likely for the hacker competition.
3:00-4:00 PM: Feeds returned at 3:48 following the hacker competition. For the most part, the houseguests stayed grouped up and were not having one on one conversations. Tyler asked Brett and Scottie if they think that whoever won is really going to tell Angela. Scottie said no. Brett said there is no way. JC told Scottie he doesn’t think that Rockstar got it, so he should be fine.
4:00-5:00 PM: Kaycee went upstairs to talk to Angela. They suspected that Brett or Scottie won the competition. Kaycee said it has to be Brett since he went straight to the bed. Angela said to let Brett know the best plan is to take Rockstar down in order to put Faysal up. Kaycee went downstairs. She spoke to Tyler. She said Angela wants Brett to know to take down Rockstar in order to put Faysal up. Brett headed upstairs next. He told Angela he thinks that Scottie won. Angela agreed. Brett thinks Scottie would either leave nominations the same in order to avoid getting blood on his hands when he is the pawn, or he will nominate him. The houseguests were called to the diary room one at a time so that the competition winner could decide what to do with nominations. Tyler spoke to Angela and Brett. He said he doesn’t have the power. JC spoke to Scottie to let him know that people will know it’s him if he tries to nominate Tyler. He mentioned that people thought Scottie flipped the vote in order to place the blame on Tyler last week. Scottie told JC that he didn’t win. Haleigh joined them. JC said he doesn’t think that Rockstar won. Based on Rockstar’s attitude, Haleigh agreed. Up in the HoH room, Haleigh then told Angela she is hoping that nothing happens. Angela said she is not even worry about it since there is nothing that she can do.
5:00-6:00 PM: While alone in the HoH room, Haleigh asked Faysal if he won. Faysal said he thought she had won since she didn’t know that there was a skull. Haleigh said she didn’t get it. She explained that she was making fun of Kaycee for not knowing about the skull. Feeds went down for the hacker ceremony. When feeds returned a few minutes later, we found out that the hacker had nominated Tyler in Scottie’s place. Haleigh was the hacker. She has yet to tell anyone. JC told Tyler there is no way that he wont have the votes. Tyler said he will be gone if he doesn’t win the veto. He reminded JC that somebody’s vote is going to get cancelled out. JC said he will flip the house in order to get Tyler to stay. Tyler said he will stay because he is going to win the veto. Tyler told Faysal he thinks that he will be picked to play in the veto competition. Faysal agreed. Tyler said they will try to convince him not to use it. Faysal told Tyler he has got him. Tyler then spoke to Scottie. He asked him if he would use the veto on him if he wins it. Scottie said he would do it in a heartbeat. Haleigh came by to check on Tyler. She hugged him and said she didn’t want this. Haleigh swore that it wasn’t her. Scottie let Faysal, Haleigh and Rockstar know that he would use the veto on Tyler if he wins it. Faysal told Scottie he would then be the replacement nominee. Up in the HoH room, Angela, JC and Kaycee were discussing who might have won the hacker competition. Bayleigh’s name was thrown out there. Kaycee thinks that Bayleigh acted the same way that she did when she won the power app.
6:00-7:00 PM: Angela asked JC and Kaycee if she should confront Bayleigh. JC said no. Kaycee suggested that she play dumb. Angela said she thinks that anyone who plays in the veto competition is going to pull Tyler off. Kaycee pointed out that at least Bayleigh didn’t take Rockstar down, cause Rockstar wont win the veto competition. Tyler told Angela, Haleigh and Kaycee he thinks that someone is trying to turn him against Scottie by making it look like this was Scottie’s move. Angela said Scottie will be able to prove it wasn’t him if he wins the veto and uses it on Tyler. Haleigh said it will prove that he was being framed. Angela said it eventually gets out when people try to make big moves and be sneaky. Haleigh said this was not productive in any way. Angela said it sucks to see Tyler sad. Haleigh agreed. She said he hasn’t done anything and he hasn’t aligned himself with anyone wrong. Haleigh said “poor Tyler” and mentioned that he was in tears after being nominated. Afterwards, Haleigh asked Faysal if he promises that it wasn’t him who won. Faysal said yes. Haleigh said they are running out of people it can be. Faysal said he thought it was Haleigh. She said it’s not but Angela thinks that it was her. Haleigh said she 100% would have kept nominations the same.
7:00-8:00 PM: Haleigh spoke to Brett about the hacker. Haleigh questioned what the point of swapping Scottie for Tyler is when they have won the same amount of competitions. Brett said Tyler is good with everyone. Haleigh said that’s true. She said she just knows that it wasn’t her. Haleigh guaranteed that tomorrow will give it away since she thinks that Scottie will pick himself to play in the veto competition. Haleigh asked Brett to look at her and swear it wasn’t him. Brett swore it wasn’t him. Brett then told Kaycee that Haleigh was questioning him. He said the only person she didn’t ever mention was Bayleigh. Brett said he doesn’t want them to know that they know it was Bayleigh. Kaycee said she is going to plant the seed that Tyler is the bigger threat. Tyler told her to do that with Bayleigh so that Bayleigh might not cancel her vote. Elsewhere, Tyler spoke to Scottie. He said he and everyone else know that it wasn’t him. Scottie asked what changed to make everyone think that way after originally believing that it was him. Tyler said it would be too obvious. Up in the HoH room, Angela told Kaycee she will act like she has no idea that Bayleigh is the hacker. She said she has the perfect speech planned for the veto ceremony, as she is going to make it seem as though Scottie is going up before she nominates Bayleigh. Tyler spoke to Angela. He said he thinks it was totally Bayleigh who nominated him. Tyler mentioned that Bayleigh is the one person he told that Scottie was his best friend. JC joined them. JC said he wants Bayleigh gone this week, and he will jeopardize his game in order to make it happen. JC explained that Bayleigh was eating chips and she pulled them back and said “ask!” when he went to grab one. JC said she has temper issues.
8:00-9:00 PM: JC told Tyler that he will get Faysal to vote to keep him if nominations stay the same. JC wasn’t so sure that he could get Tyler the votes to stay if Tyler is on the block next to Bayleigh. Angela said she doesn’t have to nominate Bayleigh if Rockstar wins the veto. Brett asked if she would nominate Scottie again, to which Angela replied “I guess so”. Brett spoke with JC, telling him he 100% believes that Bayleigh won the hacker competition. He figures that the only reason she didn’t nominate him is that it would be too obvious. JC thinks that Bayleigh is out for revenge for Swaggy, so she is going after Tyler now that Kaitlyn is gone. Angela and Brett spoke later. Brett said he thinks Bayleigh won and Rockstar knows about. He claims to have heard the two of them “cackling” in the bedroom after Tyler was nominated.
9:00-10:00 PM: JC told Faysal that the hacker is nasty, dirty person for trying to make Scottie and Tyler fight. JC suggested that they want Tyler to go because they know the two of them have a shot at working with him. JC said they have to outsmart the hacker. They went through a few options for who might have nominated Tyler. Rockstar’s name was brought up. Faysal then said Bayleigh could have won since she knows that Tyler was about to nominate her during his HoH reign, plus Tyler used the veto in order to send Swaggy home. Finally, Faysal said Haleigh might have won it since she has talked about backdooring Tyler before. JC said he doesn’t think that Haleigh would do that to them. JC said Haleigh would have to be the most ungrateful person to do that after Faysal risked his game to save her when she was on the block. Elsewhere, Bayleigh told Haleigh and Rockstar that Tyler needs to go if he is nominated next to Scottie. Bayleigh thinks that Tyler would come after them whereas Scottie would go after the other side and remain a big target in the house.
10:00-11:00 PM: Tyler told Angela and Kaycee that they have to make the other side think that Brett will be the replacement nominee if Faysal wins the veto. Tyler figures that they want Brett out, so he might be able to get Faysal to use the veto on him. Tyler said they can then throw Bayleigh on the block. Angela said Bayleigh made a bold move by assuming that she nor Tyler will win the veto. Angela told Kaycee that the two of them should pretend that they aren’t going to use the veto if they win it. She thinks that it would be better for TV purposes. In the have-not room, Haleigh asked Faysal what he will do if he wins the veto. Faysal said he has no idea. Haleigh said they aren’t going to have the votes to save Rockstar if the nominations stay the same. Faysal said Rockstar might be the most loyal person and they are just being paranoid, but something is messing them up. Faysal asked if they are just going to keep saving their team that is screwing them. Haleigh said they don’t know who exactly it is, and they wont have a team at all if they don’t save them. Faysal asked Haleigh if she won the competition. Haleigh said no. She told Faysal to stop asking her that. Faysal said he thought she won because she didn’t know what the screen said for the losers. Haleigh insisted that she knew what it said. Later, Faysal told Haleigh she does the same with him that she does with everyone else. Haleigh reassured Faysal that she will choose him over anyone. Faysal said it’s hard to trust that when what they have is nothing more than what Haleigh has with anyone else. Haleigh told Faysal he knows that she likes him. She suggested that they have something different than she has with the others.
