Big Brother 20 Day 20 - Kaitlyn nominates Swaggy in Scottie's place

12:00-12:30 PM: Feeds returned following the veto ceremony. Tyler used the Power of Veto on Scottie. Kaitlyn nominated Swaggy as the replacement nominee. When feeds returned, Faysal and Scottie were in the have-not room with Swaggy. Faysal talked about needing to get Kaitlyn or Tyler out next week. Up in the HoH room, Bayleigh and other spoke to Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn was crying. Bayleigh headed downstairs and asked to speak to Swaggy alone. Swaggy mentioned that it might be a 6-6 vote. Bayleigh thinks that he would have to get JC and Rachel on board with keeping him in order to stay. Bayleigh asked if Swaggy is going to talk to Kaitlyn. He said not today. Faysal and Scottie rejoined the conversation. Faysal said Kaitlyn told him what she was going to do moments before the veto ceremony. Scottie said it was such a dumb move. Swaggy brought up that Kaitlyn said he was bullying her. Swaggy said he will be up all night working on Sam. Scottie said Kaitlyn had to have known she was going to do this for at least a couple of days, because Tyler asked him if he trusts him after the veto competition. Swaggy added that they told people not to pick him to play in the veto competition for this reason. Bayleigh encouraged Faysal to go talk to Kaitlyn. She thinks that if he doesn’t do it early, he will not be able to get through to her. Bayleigh suggested making her feel bad by saying that he is shocked, confused and hurt. Faysal went to speak to Haleigh to ask what they should do. She advised him to remain calm, not talking to anyone right now. Haleigh said they have to focus on getting the votes. While Faysal thinks that JC is their best option, Haleigh explained that he just finished telling her that she can’t be on the wrong side of the vote again, so she doesn’t think that he is voting with them. Haleigh pointed out that Kaitlyn heard everything that Swaggy was saying about her, and she knew that he was going against her. While Faysal argued that Swaggy wouldn’t have put her up in the next few weeks, Haleigh said he still shouldn’t have been openly talking about her like that to so many people. Haleigh said they will have to re-evaluate things since they don’t have the numbers right now. Back up in the HoH room, Kaitlyn said Bayleigh understood the move. Tyler said Kaitlyn articulated things well with her, and you can tell that she understood since she didn’t blow up. Brett reassured Kaitlyn that she made the right move.

12:30-1:00 PM: Bayleigh came by to speak to Kaitlyn one-on-one. Kaitlyn explained that she had people coming to her last week telling her what the group has been saying about her. Kaitlyn specifically mentioned that JC and Tyler relayed things to her. Kaitlyn said she had to use her intuition on this one. Bayleigh said she cannot believe how this blew up out of proportion. She said they were only saying that they don’t want Kaitlyn to blow up. Bayleigh said it breaks her heart cause Swaggy is the only thing that she has in this house, and she was only friends with the others through Swaggy. Bayleigh said she gets where Kaitlyn is coming from since she has to act on it if she feels bullied or threatened. She said she tries all the time to make sure that Swaggy chills and is tame, otherwise he would be ten times worse. Bayleigh assured Kaitlyn that Swaggy doesn’t mean anything by it, and that’s just who he is. Bayleigh questioned where she is supposed to go from here. Kaitlyn said to go with “us”. Bayleigh asked who us even is anymore, which led to Kaitlyn explaining that she made the move in part due to wanting to allow everyone to reset. Bayleigh brought up that a talk between Kaitlyn and Swaggy is long overdue. Kaitlyn said she will talk to him when he is ready to talk to her. Bayleigh mentioned that three people have said JC is claiming that she has the power. Bayleigh said it’s not her, and she thinks that Sam has it. Kaitlyn said it’s not Sam. When Bayleigh asked how she knows, Kaitlyn said there was another power and you cannot get it two weeks in a row. Before the talk wrapped up, Kaitlyn apologized to Bayleigh for hurting her. Bayleigh said she understands where Kaitlyn is coming from.

1:00-2:00 PM: Brett, Haleigh and Tyler spoke to Kaitlyn. Bayleigh had mentioned that Winston told Scottie he would nominate Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn brought it up, saying the bottom line is that Winston talked about her. Brett said it’s not true. Tyler said he has not heard Winston say anything about her. Brett told Kaitlyn not to let Bayleigh get inside of her head. Haleigh said that Scottie told her the same thing that he told Bayleigh. In the storage room, Scottie told Tyler that he is in a difficult spot since he thinks that Tyler will want to vote the way that Kaitlyn wants. Scottie pointed out that he promised both Swaggy and Tyler that he would not vote against them, so going against Swaggy would be like going against Tyler. Tyler explained that Kaitlyn felt disrespected by Swaggy, so there was not a whole lot that he could do. Tyler claimed that the only thing he could do was make sure that Scottie was 100% safe. Scottie thanked Tyler. Tyler said Swaggy has deals with everyone, plus he tells people that he uses Scottie as a middleman to get info from the other side. Tyler said he didn’t want Scottie to be used like that. Scottie asked if Tyler will be voting to evict Swaggy. Tyler said he will have to and it’s looking like Swaggy is going to be leaving. Tyler mentioned that people are likely going to think that he told Kaitlyn to do this, but the idea was brought to him and he had to work with it. Scottie wanted Tyler to know that what he said to him still stands even if he for some reason has to vote against Swaggy. Tyler said he understands. Scottie said he wants to do what’s best for the two of them, not just himself. They discussed that Scottie’s best move would be to get close with Brett, Winston and Haleigh.

2:00-3:00 PM: Haleigh let Swaggy know that Kaitlyn talked about Winston saying he was going to put her up, so that could be an opening for him. Haleigh said what pushed Kaitlyn over the edge is Tyler coming to her to tell her about his conversations with Swaggy. Swaggy asked if he should have a conversation with Kaitlyn and Tyler. Haleigh suggested waiting a couple of hours. Swaggy said it’s not only losing out on the money that hurts, as he really likes Bayleigh and now he will only get to spend two weeks of the summer with her. In the storage room, Scottie told Brett that he has apparently been in the dark about a lot that has happened. He mentioned that apparently there was a fight between Kaitlyn and Swaggy. Brett said it was a surprise to him as well, but he is a human and he saw her crying. Brett said Swaggy was positioning Kaitlyn as the low man on the totem pole, and was saying that she was jealous of Faysal and Haleigh’s relationship. Scottie said he has been hanging out with Swaggy a lot but apparently Swaggy has not been telling him things. Brett suggested that Swaggy was the reason why Steve went home. He said Steve made a deal with Swaggy, then he picked Faysal to play for him in the veto competition. Brett said Faysal then didn’t even use the veto on Steve. Scottie said he feels like he was getting played. Brett said he should feel that way. Scottie told Brett he isn’t buying it that a power was used last week. Brett agreed. Scottie said somebody from their side had to have flipped. Brett said it was Swaggy. Scottie told Brett he is sorry that he fell for it.

3:00-4:00 PM: Rockstar headed up to the HoH room. Kaitlyn explained that she had no reason to send Winston home when Swaggy was the one talking about her all last week. Rockstar said Kaitlyn had a pretty face in her ear all week, referring to Tyler. Kaitlyn said this was not Tyler’s idea. Rockstar accused Kaitlyn of being with Brett, Winston and Tyler, which she denied. Kaitlyn said she didn’t feel safe being in an alliance in which she is the target for someone. Kaitlyn said she had one opportunity to do this. She said she wants America to see that she will stand up for herself. Rockstar said she looks forward to watching the tapes to see why she needed to stand up for herself. Rockstar suggested that Brett and Tyler are in Kaitlyn’s ear, which she denied. Rockstar said Tyler is a competition beast who is trying to knock them out by separating them. Kaitlyn said it’s her understanding that Bayleigh and Swaggy are the ones who are trying to separate them by telling her and Haleigh not to talk to each other. Kaitlyn said he could sense the energy from Bayleigh and Swaggy shift once she won HoH, and to her the alliance was over when Swaggy said what he did about her. Kaitlyn said she understands if Rockstar wants to put her up because of it. Rockstar said she would nominate Brett and Tyler. Rockstar asked that Kaitlyn not tell them that. Kaitlyn said she would never do that to Rockstar.

4:00-5:00 PM: Rockstar relayed her conversation with Kaitlyn to Swaggy. He swore that he had never called Kaitlyn a liability. Swaggy said he wants Tyler in the room when he talks to her, so that Tyler can tell him to his face that he said that. Swaggy believes that he is in this position because of the drama between Kaitlyn, Faysal and Haleigh. He said it started with that, the alliance started to fall apart, he called Kaitlyn shady, and now he is going home. Swaggy headed upstairs to talk to Kaitlyn. He wanted to hear what she had to say first. Kaitlyn explained that everything that was happening kept coming back to him. Kaitlyn said she likes him but she had to stand up for herself. Swaggy said she always needs to stand up for herself. He clarified that he always trusted her and trusted the alliance. He mentioned it falling apart due to the Faysal and Haleigh situation. Swaggy admitted to saying that Kaitlyn was shady, but he didn’t say that she was a liability. Swaggy said he had a bad feeling about things last night but people told him not to talk to Kaitlyn since this week is done and he is safe. Tyler joined the conversation. Swaggy assured the both of them that he would not have put them up. Swaggy said he didn’t come there to go home in week two over a miscommunication. Tyler clarified that Swaggy was not the only one talking behind Kaitlyn’s back. Swaggy said he is not going to be a snitch. He did tell Kaitlyn and Tyler that things will be forgiven if he stays on Thursday. Swaggy brought up wanting to stay not only for the money but also for Bayleigh because she is his girlfriend. Swaggy swore on his father’s grave that he will not go after Kaitlyn or Tyler if he stays. He insisted that he will target those on the other side until they are gone. Kaitlyn and Tyler were worried about the rest of the group coming after them. Swaggy said he is trying to calm the rest of the alliance down. Kaitlyn said she doesn’t know what she will do in the event of a tie, whereas five minutes ago she would have said Swaggy is going home. They discussed having further talks with Faysal and with Bayleigh.

5:00-6:00 PM: Kaitlyn told Tyler that Swaggy cannot go home. She said he is right that they are doing the dirty work for the other side. She added that Winston cannot swear that he will not come after them. Tyler said he believes Swaggy 100% but the alliance is not necessarily going to listen to him. Kaitlyn quickly changed how she was thinking, questioning how she would be able to go back to that side after the way that they talked about her. Kaitlyn asked if Tyler is going to vote against Swaggy. Tyler said he has to. Tyler said they have to look out for themselves. Kaitlyn said her gut is still telling her that Swaggy has to go. Tyler said the same thing. Swaggy headed outside to tell Haleigh and Rockstar that Kaitlyn was crying and wants him to stay, but she is worried that the rest of the group will not keep her safe anyway. Swaggy encouraged them to play up the fact that they are not going after Kaitlyn or Tyler. Rockstar asked if Kaitlyn mentioned that Tyler is her target. Swaggy said one of them brought it up. Rockstar said Kaitlyn went back on her promise then, cause she said that she would not tell him that. Faysal spoke to Kaitlyn after being encouraged to do so by Swaggy. Swaggy had been telling his allies that Kaitlyn is on board with keeping him but she needs to know that she has the support of the alliance. Faysal said he would have liked if she had talked to him about this move beforehand. Kaitlyn said she couldn’t since he would try to talk her out of it. Faysal worried that he is now a sitting duck once Swaggy leaves. Kaitlyn said she made a deal with Winston to keep him and only him safe, even though she has been telling Haleigh and Rockstar that they were included in the deal as well. They briefly discussed this week’s vote. Faysal said it’s all going to come down to what Kaitlyn wants, seeing as her vote and Tyler’s vote would be enough to keep Swaggy. Kaitlyn said Tyler is not going to do whatever she wants.

6:00-7:00 PM: Kaitlyn continued her talk with Faysal, explaining to him why she flipped last week. She went over the talk that she had with Tyler the morning of the vote in which Tyler revealed that something bad will happen if she votes to evict Sam. She said Sam has the power and would have used it last week if she had voted to evict her, which would have put them all at risk of going up as the replacement nominee on the spot. Kaitlyn justified it as though she did it for the good of the alliance. Faysal asked if Sam still has the power. Kaitlyn confirmed that she does and that she can use it on someone else as well. Kaitlyn told Faysal that her ideal alliance would be with him, Tyler, Brett, Haleigh and Rockstar. Faysal asked if Haleigh knows about the deal with Winston. Kaitlyn said Haleigh knew about it beforehand, cause she told her about the plan the day before. Kaitlyn added that she doesn’t feel comfortable with the group in part cause of how easily Haleigh was willing to flip when she told her what she was going to do. Faysal then began to question if he can trust Haleigh, because she didn’t tell him what she knew. Kaitlyn said Haleigh kept it from him because she asked her to. Kaitlyn told Faysal that Haleigh can indeed be trusted. Faysal said the way that he looks at all of this is that it will suck if Swaggy goes home but it seems like it will ensure his survival next week. Kaitlyn also did her best to make Faysal feel comfortable with Tyler, telling him that Tyler would not come after him and that he really likes Faysal. Faysal said he likes Tyler as well.

7:00-8:00 PM: Kaitlyn asked Tyler if he would nominate Faysal. Tyler said no. Kaitlyn mentioned that they both have the same conversations with her, and they assume that the other doesn’t like them. Kaitlyn suggested that they would be better off working together. Tyler agreed. He said he would like to have a chat with Faysal even before Swaggy goes. Kaitlyn asked Tyler who he would nominate. Tyler only named Rockstar. Kaitlyn asked if he could backdoor her instead since she told Rockstar that he wouldn’t put her up. Tyler said he only said her name because she said his first. Haleigh entered the HoH room. Kaitlyn asked how she is going to vote. Haleigh said she will probably vote with the house cause there are no numbers for Swaggy and she doesn’t want to have him stay after Kaitlyn made a big move.

8:00-9:00 PM: Swaggy asked Haleigh which votes she thinks that he will be able to swing. He said he has five votes already. Haleigh said she thought that he could get JC but Scottie said he doesn’t think that they have him. Swaggy said he will work on getting Tyler, which would possibly mean that he would have Kaitlyn too since she might want to vote with Faysal and Tyler. Out at the hammock, JC told Angela and Rachel that Swaggy isn’t even planning on trying to get their votes or Brett’s vote. Rachel said she tried to talk to Swaggy earlier but he turned her down.

9:00-10:00 PM: Bayleigh check in with Tyler to make sure that he knows that she still wants to work with him. She said he is a beast and it’s better to have him on her side than against her. Tyler said he believed every single word that Swaggy said to him and Kaitlyn earlier. Bayleigh said she doesn’t know what’s going to happen but she needs to know who is going to have her back regardless of how the week plays out. The two agreed that they are fine either way. Tyler then spoke to Swaggy who reiterated the same points from earlier in the day. Afterwards, Faysal and Tyler spoke. Tyler said that while Swaggy believes that he is the deciding vote, others seem to have already jumped ship. They then cleared the air with each other. Faysal said he knows what he has with Kaitlyn, so it doesn’t bother him how close Tyler is to her. Tyler said he is the same way. They agreed that it’s best to have the others think that they are against each other.

10:00-11:00 PM: Swaggy told Bayleigh that he wants to stay and get a power or win HoH next week. He said he is telling people that he is fine with just make it to jury even though he is there to win. Swaggy said he wants Kaitlyn and Tyler to believe that he is with them, then he is going to take them out once he gets to jury.

11:00-12:00 AM: Kaitlyn asked Tyler what is making him trust the other side so much, in reference to Winston’s side of the house. She pointed out that Swaggy is swearing on his father’s grave, which is something that no one else is going to do. Tyler said it’s not that he doesn’t trust Swaggy. He explained that his gut is telling him that Swaggy has to go, so he needs to listen to that over his heart. JC joined Kaitlyn to remind her that she cannot fall for what Swaggy is saying to her. JC said Kaitlyn will then have Swaggy and his minions coming after her. Kaitlyn admitted that she feels bad after she talks to Swaggy, though Tyler gets her back on track by reminding her what Swaggy has done to her.

1:00-2:00 AM: Sam told Swaggy she felt as though he had made his deals and plans within the first couple of days and that was it. Sam said in her mind she thought that if you agree to work for Swaggy, you agree to lose to Swaggy. She said it’s admirable that Swaggy is that determined to win. Swaggy said he didn’t make deals in the first couple of days, but people came to him since he had won the first couple of competitions. Swaggy said JC, Kaycee and Sam are the only people who have not come to him to tell him that they want to work with him. Swaggy admitted that he has not been personable with everybody to a point where they understand his history, why he wears Swaggy C on his shirts, and so on. Sam advised Swaggy to put the whole game aside, open the gates, and let his heart fall out. Sam questioned if he really wants the future principal of his future kids to see him as Swaggy or as the well rounded Chris that he is. She said he will be able to walk out with his head held high if he knows that he was able to show everyone everything. Swaggy said he remained calm when blindsided because back home he knows that he can be shot at and killed at any moment. Sam said Swaggy has a future that is his to mould even if he leaves. She added that if this game means so much to him, make more of it. Sam said what makes influence and power is not money or personal but possessions, but rather how you treat others. Swaggy said it’s hard not to focus on the game side of things after watching 13 seasons of the show. Sam said she knows that he wants to play the game, but this is not a game since there are no rules. She questioned what other game is played by 16 people with only one winner. Swaggy said none. Sam told Swaggy to just roll with it since he is there. She said she has been doing that the whole time that she has been there, taking things one day at a time. Swaggy said he has to adapt that mindset, cause he came in the mindset that he would at least make it so far if he didn’t win. Sam said Swaggy would be patting himself on the back right now if he came in thinking that he would only last one week like she did. Sam told Swaggy to wake up tomorrow acting like it’s Day 1 all over again, but come in with her mindset. Swaggy asked Sam how she determines which way she will vote if she doesn’t talk game. Sam said that it is a very well put question. She said it will be conversations like this, the connections she makes, and the way that people treat other people. Swaggy said that’s a great answer. Swaggy told Sam he is glad that he got to see this side of her given that she had the chance to stay last week. Sam said she is so thankful that she is getting to talk to him like this right now. Sam said they should be thankful for how amazing this opportunity is, enjoying what they have. Sam once again advised Swaggy to wake up brand new. Swaggy wondered what happens if it comes off as fake. Sam told Swaggy to speak from the heart, letting them know that this is his brand new fresh start in which he wants to get to know everybody. When Swaggy needs a mental break, Sam encouraged Swaggy to picture whatever place or memory he has that makes him happy. Swaggy said what makes him happy is being there with Bayleigh. Sam told him to think about that. Swaggy said what Sam is saying about not talking game makes sense, but it’s stressful knowing that he maybe could have talked game with one person in order to get that one vote that he needs. He said it’s a hard balance. Sam told Swaggy that he is overthinking it, which is clouding the real Swaggy. Sam added that Swaggy is stuck in his own head when they need him to be there. Sam told the brand new Swaggy to take everything at face value rather than trying to look for some kind of other hidden meaning. Sam called him Sunshine Swaggy. Swaggy said Sam changed his whole night around after he was crying and upset all day. He hugged Sam and let him know that he appreciates it. Swaggy said he will be real personable instead of playing the game.

2:00-3:00 AM: Sam told Kaitlyn she doesn’t know a whole lot about the game but she does know about people. Sam said from getting to know these people, and finally getting to know and talk to Swaggy, she thinks that Kaitlyn is sending out the lesser threat. She said she thinks that Winston should leave. Kaitlyn asked if she would vote against Winston. Sam said she is not talking about it from a game sense, and she knows who voted to keep her last week. Sam suggested that working with Swaggy would be easier than working with Winston. Kaitlyn agreed. Sam thinks that both Swaggy and Winston are caught up in game stuff, are trying to be intimidating, and they are sucking at the moment.

3:00-4:00 AM: Sam continued her talk with Kaitlyn, telling her that Winston is only fun when he is around Brett. She said Winston views people as a commodity in the game. Sam said if Kaitlyn wants to win, she should send Winston home this week. Kaitlyn said that would mean JC, Sam and Tyler would have to vote differently, otherwise the numbers are not there. Kaitlyn said the only thing that scares her about keeping Swaggy is that she doesn’t trust the group. She also said that she would have to talk to Tyler. Sam said Tyler is the male mastermind right now and Kaitlyn is the female mastermind. Sam said she was very wrong in thinking that Winston would be the easier person to beat down the line. Kaitlyn said she saw a side to Swaggy that she wish she had seen earlier. Sam said she told him the exact same thing. Kaitlyn said she wants Swaggy to stay, cause she wants to do this for him, but Tyler just doesn’t trust him after what he said about her last week. Kaitlyn said Swaggy owned what he said about her. Kaitlyn clarified that Winston is still her target even if Swaggy goes home this week. Kaitlyn said she is friends with her original side and they are loyal, unlike how she feels with Rachel and the rest of that side. Kaitlyn said she has a lot to think about. Sam suggested making the move now before Winston’s side gains momentum and wipes them out. Sam argued that Angela, Brett and Rachel would choose Tyler’s side over Swaggy’s side if Winston goes. Kaitlyn said she likes the idea of having badass women together, such as the two of them, Haleigh and Rockstar. Sam agreed. Sam said she is going to go along with whatever Kaitlyn wants to do. Kaitlyn said she will have a decision made by Wednesday morning.
