Big Brother 18 Day 73 - Michelle and Paul are nominated

August 26, 2016

11:00-12:00 PM: Michelle and Natalie discussed the upcoming nominations. Michelle said she thinks that Natalie proved to Nicole that it’s not scary putting up two big targets. Michelle worried that Paul up in the HoH room for a long time last night. Natalie told her not to get paranoid. Natalie then said Paul is acting all buddy buddy with Corey and Nicole. She said he is dangerous. Michelle said Paul is playing Vanessa’s game. She explained that Paul goes into groups to collect information, then he reveals it to the people in power. The girls talked about how it would have been better had James won HoH. Michelle asked why James dropped. She questioned if James and Nicole have a Final 2 deal. Michelle said she guarantees that James would not have dropped for anyone else, but he really trusts Nicole for some reason. Natalie said she told James to do what is best for his game. Natalie told Michelle that if she goes home this week, it was fun playing with her. Michelle said if anything, she will be the one leaving this week. Michelle pointed out that James will keep Natalie over her and so will a lot of people. Michelle added that Paul will not want to keep her around. Natalie said you never know since people may want to split her and James up. Natalie told Michelle that she is not a bigger threat than Paul and Victor are. Up in the HoH room, Nicole told Corey that she is hoping that the care package will be an HoH takeover because she doesn’t know what to do. Nicole said she had planned on nominating Michelle and Victor when she was up on the wall. Nicole told Corey that it made her sad to see how excited Victor was to work with them. Corey said he had tears in his eyes. For that reason, Nicole said she cannot nominate Victor. However, she said James threw her this HoH and they did not put them up the week before. She also mentioned that James kept Corey last night. Nicole said bridges are going to be burned that didn’t need to be burned. Nicole said she is very stressed out and she is wondering if she should have won this.

12:00-1:00 PM: Nicole brought up that James was not keeping Corey at one point last night. She also said Natalie is supposed to be in an alliance with them, yet she wanted Victor to stay. Nicole said that shows her that Natalie is not strategic in any way. Nicole is unsure of whether or not Victor is telling the truth about the jurors saying to go after James. She thought that they may have said to go after her and Corey. Nicole expects Victor to get the care package since he returned again. Corey said they should hand him the $500,000. Nicole told Corey that she would not take Victor to the end because whoever is sitting next to him will be getting second place. Corey agreed but brought up that he has been evicted twice. Corey said he feels that you don’t deserve to win the $500,000 in that case. The two discussed that Michelle is their target this week. Nicole was unsure about going back on her word to James. Corey said Paul or Victor can go up as a pawn next to Michelle. Nicole said that would help them hide that they are working together. Paul’s was mentioned as the potential pawn. Corey said Paul would know that there is no way he would go home over Michelle, since Corey and Victor would keep him. Nicole would then have to break the tie. If Michelle wins the veto, Nicole said she would let Paul and Victor know that they can decide as a group who to put up between James and Natalie. The final care package was delivered. Corey received the BB Bribe and will have $5,000 with which to bribe someone in order to perform an action that will benefit his game. Once someone agrees to it, it is a binding contract and they must follow through on that action. The bribe does not have to be made public. If no bribe is agreed upon, nobody will get the $5,000.

1:00-2:00 PM: Michelle checked in with Corey and Nicole. Nicole said that she has no idea what she is doing yet. Michelle said there will be no hard feelings since she put Corey up. Michelle said she wont cry about it. Michelle told Corey that she is happy he got the care package. She said it shows that people aren’t as fond of Paul. Michelle pointed out that Corey could bribe her not to use the veto if she wins it and she is their target. After Michelle left, Nicole told Corey that she is putting Michelle up. She said it’s easy for her since Michelle is coming after her, is fine with it and she wants to go home. Nicole said she will not be putting James on the block. She said she trusts Paul enough to tell him the plan but she doesn’t trust James enough to tell him the plan. They discussed nominating Paul next to Michelle, then throwing the veto to Victor so that he can save Paul. Paul and Victor joined them in the HoH room. Nicole said she wants them both to be there at the end of the week. Nicole explained that Michelle is the bigger threat than James and Natalie because she is strong in mental competitions. Paul and Victor said they are fine with targeting her. Nicole threw the idea out there that she could nominate Paul in order to keep the other side calm, then they can throw the veto. Nicole said she wants Michelle out so bad that she would want Corey to bribe someone not to use the veto on Michelle. Paul said he knows that Victor would vote his way, so he just needs Corey to give him his word. Corey promised that he will not vote Paul out. Paul said he will go on the block then. Nicole said she will break the tie and tell Michelle to “get to steppin’”. Nicole reiterated that their loyalty lies with Paul and Victor. Paul said he is trusting them, so put him on the block. Nicole wanted to be sure that the move would not be held against her. Paul assured her that it would not be. Corey, Nicole, Paul and Victor agreed to name their alliance “The Final 4”.

2:00-3:00 PM: James spoke to Corey and Nicole. He told them that he has been a team player for a long time. He admitted that things were said but he clarified that he has never done them wrong. Nicole said she is planning on taking another swing at Paul, so they will see how it goes. She told James that it is hard for her because she knows that Michelle doesn’t like her that much either. Nicole hinted that she may nominate Michelle next to Paul, saying that either Paul or Victor will take themselves down if they are both nominated. Nicole said Michelle would have to go up anyway if that were the case. James told Corey and Nicole to do what is best for their game. Nicole told James that it seems as though everyone wants Paul out at this point. James said he doesn’t even think that Victor would be too upset about it.

3:00-4:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, Corey told Nicole that they need to stick to the plan in order to get Michelle out. Nicole said she kept that from James for now because he will be sketched out if he knows that Michelle is the target. Corey asked Nicole if she is banking on Paul coming down. Nicole said she is banking on Victor winning the veto and using it on Paul. Paul then spoke to Nicole. Nicole asked him how he feels about going up. Paul said he trusts her. Nicole reassured Paul that he will not be going anywhere. Paul told Nicole that he will only be mad if he goes home. Nicole said James or Natalie will go on the block and go home if they try to pull a fast one by using the veto on Michelle. Nicole continued to ask Paul if he is sure that he feels fine about going on the block. She asked if his Big Brother life feels in danger. Paul said that it doesn’t. Nicole told Paul that Corey is not fond of working with James after yesterday, so she knows that he will have Corey’s vote. Nicole said she thinks it is more fun to keep their alliance hidden by nominating him as a pawn. Corey returned from the diary room. He told Nicole and Paul that he found out he can use his $5,000 bribe up until the end of the next HoH competition, meaning that he can pay someone to drop out of the competition. Once Paul left the room, Nicole said it makes sense why America gave him the care package now because he can use it in order to keep them safe next week when she cannot compete for HoH.

5:00-6:00 PM: The nomination ceremony took place. Nicole nominated Michelle and Paul for eviction. James checked in with Michelle. He told her that Paul is their target and they have to make sure that he doesn’t win the veto. James said he thinks that Corey will try to bribe Victor not to use the veto if he wins it. Michelle asked if James knows that Paul is Nicole’s target. James said she made it very clear that he was when she told him that in the kitchen. Michelle told James that it was a while ago and things could have changed since then. If she is Nicole’s target, Michelle said she doesn’t want James and Natalie to jeopardize their games for her. She said it is what it is if she is the target.

6:00-7:00 PM: Corey told Nicole that he kind of wants Natalie to go home. He said he is annoyed by her. Nicole said that’s emotional. Corey said it would bring James closer to them. Nicole told Corey that it could still happen. Corey said Michelle will be going home unless she wins the veto. Paul came up to the HoH room. He asked if he should take himself off the block if he wins the veto. Nicole said she is fine with that. She told Paul that the best case scenario is Victor winning the veto and taking Paul down. Paul revealed that he would like to freak Michelle out before the veto competition. Nicole told him to go with whatever strategy he wants.

7:00-8:00 PM: Nicole told Corey that Paul and Victor are going to vote James out if she puts him up, forcing her to have to break the tie to send Michelle home. Nicole said she feels as though they are in a good spot right now. She explained that she is trying to send someone home who is on the outskirts of the two deals that they have. She mentioned that those two sides will either backstab them or take a shot at each other next week. Nicole let Corey know that she is on the fence about Paul and Victor, though she thinks that he has already picked that side. Nicole asked Corey which deal he would pick. Corey said he would rather play against James and Natalie. Nicole reworded her question, asking who Corey would go after next week if he wins HoH. Corey said he would probably try to send Natalie home so that they can pull James in closer to them. Both Corey and Nicole agreed that they have a gut feeling about siding with Paul and Victor over James and Natalie. They discussed that they would be fine with having those two win, as opposed to Natalie who Corey does not want to see win the game.

8:00-9:00 PM: Natalie asked James to be honest with her if Nicole is planning on nominating either of them as the replacement nominee. James said Nicole didn’t say that and he didn’t get that vibe either. James told Natalie that they will not send Michelle home over Victor if it comes down to it. Natalie said that would be so dumb. James assured her that Corey and Nicole know that. Natalie called Michelle her best friend in the game and told James that they need her. She said Michelle only trusts the two of them and they can use her help with winning mental competitions. Natalie asked if it is good for her to win the veto. James said it’s not. He then backtracked and said it wouldn’t matter at this stage in this game, since Natalie can lock up the nominations and they can then vote Paul out.

9:00-10:00 PM: Michelle spoke to Natalie about how she thinks that she is the target. Natalie told her that she is not. Michelle asked if Natalie would tell her if she is. Natalie said she would and asked Michelle to trust her. She told Michelle that neither she nor James would vote her out even if she is the target. Michelle said it would still come down to Nicole’s tie breaking vote even if they do vote to keep her. Natalie believes that Corey and Nicole will not keep two big targets in the house over Michelle. She said that they are not going to play based on emotions at this stage of the game. Michelle said it’s weird that Paul is up in the HoH room 24/7. Natalie pointed out that he did the same with them last week. Natalie encouraged Michelle to have fun this week because she is not going home. She advised Michelle not to talk crap this week and not to blow up on anyone.
