Big Brother 18 Day 71 - Paul and Victor attempt to flip the vote

August 24, 2016

7:00-8:00 AM: Paul spoke to the live feeders. He said that he cannot sit down and have intellectual conversations with people in the house. He explained that he was put up on the block because he is probably going to win the game and he is super intelligent. Paul said he is not super intelligent even though some of the people in the house feel that way about him. Paul believes that he would bee seen as Einstein if he were to sit down and have an actual intellectual conversation with the houseguests. Paul said he amps up the silliness and amps up the funny Paul while in the house. He explained that that side of him is there in the outside world but he is not running around saying “friendship” all the time.

8:00-9:00 AM: Paul continued to speak to the live feeders. Paul said he will bet anything that Victor is going to be evicted this week. He thinks that James and Natalie are liars and Michelle is an idiot. Paul told the viewers that hopefully they can hook him up with a care package next week so that he can take a shot at the showmances. He promised that he would try to do some damage and stay strong in the game. Paul said he will playing solo if Victor leaves, because he will not be teaming up with Michelle. Paul called Michelle a train wreck and said he will not team up with her stubborn, ignorant self. Paul said it has been pretty clear for a while what James and Natalie have been up to. He said they claim to make their own decisions and be different from other showmances, yet they are the same and are playing as one. Paul brought up how James always says that he will support anything Natalie does. Paul said he is on to them and he will turn around and point a gun at them the second he gets a chance. Paul pointed out that Natalie talks too much to be as innocent as she claims to be. Paul said Natalie better pray to God that he doesn’t win HoH next week, or else she is not going to like what he has to say about her. Paul said Corey and Nicole are playing a smart game, laying low. Paul mentioned that Nicole has never been on the block and Corey has never been in real danger. Paul said he has no respect for Michelle’s game or for her as a person, though he could see her floating to the top. Paul expects Michelle to be in the Final 3. He said that hopefully he is there too so that he can choose not to bring her to the Final 2. Paul said Michelle likes to berate others and make fun of other people, yet she worries about what people think of her when she is the one being disrespectful. Paul called Michelle childish and said she throws tantrums. Paul said he will probably be in the Final 3 with Victor if Victor stays in the house. Paul doesn’t think that anyone would take him to the end unless he is there with Natalie and Nicole or Natalie and Corey. Paul said he would have to get rid of James and Corey in order for that to happen, since they are his biggest competitors. Paul expects that he will be targeted if he doesn’t win HoH and doesn’t receive the care package.

11:00-12:00 PM: Paul said he is ready to either win the game or go home. He acknowledged that it will be tough for him to win the game when he has five people against him. Paul said he loves the houseguests dearly even though he hates them in the moment, because they shared this experience together. Paul said you need to be mentally strong to play this game. He said it breaks everyone down. Paul told the viewers that if you make it to the end, you deserve to win. Paul pointed out that the vets got a second chance. He said it’s unfair because it gives them the upper hand. Paul suggested that he would get a lot further if he were to play a second time. Seeing as the vets had an advantage, Paul said he really hopes that a newbie will win the game.

2:00-3:00 PM: Corey, Nicole and Paul chatted in the kitchen while the others slept. Nicole brought up how she got crapped on the minute that she walked in the Big Brother 16 house. She said people were like “you made it?”. She said both Hayden and Zach asked her that. She also mentioned Frankie saying that he puts himself in her shoes when he thinks about what it’s like to be a normal person in the house. Paul asked what Zach’s personality was like. Nicole said he was very hot and cold with her, being her best friend sometimes and then getting so mad at her other times. Nicole explained that she could never be mad at him no matter what he would do. Nicole said the cast of Big Brother 16 was great and it was like being at summer camp. Paul asked what she thinks of this season. Nicole said it’s crazy. She figured that she would enjoy it if she were at home watching.

3:00-4:00 PM: Nicole told Corey and James that she isn’t sure that Big Brother would have the last care package come down to just two people. Corey said he doesn’t think that anyone would come back. James said it’s too late in the season for that since there are only four weeks left. Corey said it would be so unfair. James and Nicole agreed, saying that they should just put the person in the Final 2 if they are going to bring them back this late in the game.

4:00-5:00 PM: Victor asked Natalie if everything is still a go for tomorrow. Natalie said she is not the one voting. Natalie said “I guess”. She told Victor that she and James vote on their own. Victor said Natalie told him that she would have James do what she wants him to do if he is on the block. Natalie said she will try to but she cannot control where James votes at the end of the day. Natalie reiterated that she cannot force James to do anything. Victor said he is not telling her to do so. Natalie said she doesn’t recall saying she could force James to vote a certain way, but James knows that she wants to keep him. Victor said he just has block paranoia ahead of tomorrow’s eviction. Victor mentioned that Michelle thinks someone will be returning. Victor said that’s crazy. Natalie said she doesn’t think there will be one since Julie said “you will not be coming back into the house” to everyone who opened their cards. Victor said that’s true. Natalie then spoke to James, asking him if he would keep Victor if she really wanted to do that. James said it would depend on what her argument was. James asked if there is something that he should know. Natalie said she is just wondering if he would keep Victor if she really wanted to. James asked if Natalie is wanting to keep Victor. Natalie admitted that she is having her doubts. She told James that she is worried about things she has heard about Corey and Nicole. She also pointed out that she has not worked with Corey and Nicole throughout the game. Natalie told James she knows it is better for his game to keep Corey but it’s not really better for her game. Natalie said she would not be surprised if Corey and Nicole put her up next week if they win HoH. James said he would vote Natalie’s way if she had logical reasons. Natalie brought up that Nicole has said some not so cool things about her. She said she doesn’t know if she can trust them even though James can. James said Paul and Victor have to be split up. James told Natalie that she can work with Corey and Nicole if she talks to them on an emotional level because they are emotional players. Natalie said she is scared that James will screw her over. Natalie brought up Nicole cuddling with James in order to separate them. She also said James is always defending Nicole. Natalie asked if James has a Final 2 deal with Nicole. James swore to God that he does not. James said he would rather take a chance on Corey and Nicole than on Paul and Victor. James said Natalie can beat Corey and Nicole. He asked her if she can beat Victor. Natalie said no, adding that Victor is the only one there who is a physical threat to her. James said they have to take the emotion out of it. James told Natalie to know that he has her back. James said the only way they could keep Victor is if he promised to target Paul. Natalie said Victor wouldn’t do it even if he said that he would. James agreed. James asked what the positives are when it comes to keeping Victor. Natalie said she can trust him over Corey and Nicole and he sticks to his word. James said all he has is his word, yet that can easily be broken this late in the game. Natalie let James know that she just wanted to be valued on his end. James assured her that she is and that they are a team. Natalie said she feels a lot better now that they talked. James explained that his heart and his gut are telling him that Victor has got to go.

5:00-6:00 PM: Victor told Paul that he is ready for it to be tomorrow. Paul asked if he had his conversation with James yet. Victor said he had one with Natalie but it didn’t go so well. He explained that Natalie had told him she would make sure James will vote for him to stay, now she is saying that James is his own person and she doesn’t tell him how to vote. Victor said he will have a conversation later with James. Victor told Paul that he will be straightforward with James, saying he would wish James would tell him straight up if he wants him gone. Victor wanted to say that he hasn’t done James wrong so he hopes that James would not do him wrong. Victor said he thinks that Michelle and Natalie had a bad taste in their mouths when it comes to Paul.

6:00-7:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, James told Michelle and Natalie that it is in Corey and Nicole’s best interest to take Paul out. James said they could be expecting the worst when it comes to Paul. James expects that Paul would nominate him next to Corey, but he said it’s possible Paul could nominate Corey and Nicole next to each other. James said Corey and Nicole will entertain Paul because they don’t want to go on the block if he wins. James told the girls that he will nominate Nicole and Paul if he wins HoH, then they can backdoor Corey if Paul wins the veto. Michelle said she is worried that Nicole will continue to slip through the cracks. James said they can take Nicole out over Corey then, though they can beat Nicole. They then discussed that they can beat Corey too. James thought that Corey might not care anymore once Nicole is gone. Michelle agreed. Meanwhile, Paul spoke to Corey and Nicole to pitch the idea of looking out for each other. He pointed out that they would be guaranteed to get the care package. Paul told them the crew upstairs was cracking up after he had called Nicole out. Paul said James and Natalie will tell them that it’s three of them against him in the HoH competition. He explained to Nicole that he is not coming after her since she is not a threat to him. Nicole said she knows because she sucks. Paul told Corey and Nicole that James and Natalie tried to make a Final 4 deal with him and Victor, saying that they will clip Michelle when they need to. Paul said those two have reeled in Michelle. He said she is a vote even though she cannot compete this week. Paul mentioned that James is likely to throw HoH so that Corey or Nicole win, then he can take a shot at them the following week when one of them cannot compete. Paul revealed that they were upstairs telling him that they are so sorry for putting him up and that it was a mistake. Paul expects that James and Natalie will sell Corey and Nicole on the idea of getting him out. He pointed out that Corey and Nicole would then be on the wrong end of a 3-2 split since Michelle is working with James and Natalie. Paul said James will not waste an HoH on him when he is solo but Corey and Nicole are a twosome. Paul let Corey and Nicole know that he is willing to be used as a number. Nicole asked if he is saying that they are good if one of them wins HoH and the other receives the care package. Paul said yes. Paul then talked about how James makes sure that he is the last one in the evictee’s ear before they leave, telling them that they are leaving. Paul suggested that James is doing this in order to ensure that he gets their jury votes. Afterwards, Nicole told Corey that they have to be careful because this could be an attempt at getting Victor to stay by claiming that they are making deals with Paul. Nicole said she wants Michelle gone next. Corey agreed. He said they can put her on the block next to Natalie, telling Natalie that she is a pawn. Corey said they need to make sure that Paul is there the following week in order to compete for HoH.

7:00-8:00 PM: James, Michelle, Natalie and Victor spoke in the kitchen. They discussed how Paul has been hanging out with Corey and Nicole a lot lately. Natalie said Paul is hurting Victor’s game by doing that. Victor said if Paul is now working with Corey and Nicole, two of James, Michelle and Natalie will be going up if James doesn’t win HoH. Victor asked why they couldn’t just stick to the original plan. Natalie said she wanted Paul out. Victor said he gets it. Victor said he got shafted since he took Paulie out and now he is on the block. Victor reiterated that it would go from being three people playing against Nicole to three people playing against James if he leaves tomorrow. Michelle said Paul is trying to work with Corey and Nicole. Victor said that’s because Paul thinks that he is going home.

8:00-9:00 PM: Up in the HoH room, James told Natalie that Victor now knows that they have doubt since they made it clear that they don’t trust Paul. James, Michelle and Natalie agreed that Victor has got to go. Meanwhile, Victor told Paul that James is thinking a lot now and they are all chiming in on how they don’t trust Paul. Paul told Victor that he can tell the others he would nominate him next to Nicole if he stays and wins HoH. Paul told Victor to say that it’s pissing him off how he is throwing his game under the bus. Paul also suggested that Victor say he wouldn’t be able to beat Paul in the Final 2. Victor headed upstairs to talk to James, Michelle and Natalie. He said Paul would not give him any information. Victor said it’s pissing him off because his game is on the line and Paul is hurting his chances. Natalie mentioned how she told Victor that Paul cannot be trusted. Victor said he is starting to believe it now. Victor then told the group that he would put Paul on the block if they keep him. Victor said it wont even be a backdoor. Victor said he is tired of being shafted when he was so trusting of Paul. James told Victor that Paul is jumping ship on him. James said the bad egg connected to Victor is what brings a question mark into play for him. Victor pointed out that if Paul is tied to Corey and Nicole, they are getting the care package if he leaves. Natalie said she doesn’t think that Victor will go against Paul if he stays. Victor said Natalie is underestimating him by saying that. Natalie said Paul is Victor’s ride or die. Victor admitted that Paul was until he abandoned ship on him. Victor told them that he would nominate Paul after everything that has come to light. He explained that Paulie was his ride or die and he put him on the block once things came to light, so he wouldn’t mind making another big move by doing the same with Paul. Victor said he knows that Paul would not want to be in the Final 2 with him, so that means he will have to take him out at some point.

9:00-10:00 PM: Michelle told James, Natalie and Victor that it wouldn’t make sense for Corey and Nicole to target Paul if he leaves. Natalie said Paul will not put Corey and Nicole up either. She said that Paul will put them up instead. Michelle thinks that Paul told Corey and Nicole about the five and how they planned to take Corey and Nicole out. She also said he probably told them about how they said Nicole made them flip the nominations, because that’s something that Nicole would get upset about. Natalie asked Victor if he would nominate Paul if he stays. Victor said that he would 100%. Victor told the group that they have to pretend that they don’t know what is going on with Corey, Nicole and Paul. After James headed to bed, Natalie said Paul is not loyal. Victor said Paul is always in the middle of everything. Victor said he hopes that James can see that he can help him moving forward. Natalie pointed out that Paul is still hanging out with Corey and Nicole. Victor said it sucks to see that since working with those two was never part of the plan. Victor mentioned that Paul thinks he will be cool with him if he stays, yet he will put Nicole and Paul on the block if he stays. Even if Paul wins HoH, Victor said that he would then hopefully get the care package so that they are not just sitting ducks. After Victor left, Michelle asked Natalie where her head is at. Natalie said it’s perfect now that Victor is going against Paul. Natalie told Michelle that Victor will be gunning for Paul and Nicole 100%. Natalie said she kind of wants Victor to stay now. Michelle asked Natalie what she thinks James is going to do. Natalie said she has no idea now that they had this conversation. Natalie told Michelle that she trusts Victor but she doesn’t trust Corey. Natalie said she wants Corey out now. She mentioned that Victor is such a genuine person. Michelle trusts that Victor would go after Nicole. Natalie thinks the only way that James would keep Victor is if he goes against Paul.

10:00-11:00 PM: Michelle and Natalie ran through the scenarios with James. Michelle and Natalie explained that they have more ways to stay safe if Victor stays. James said he is worried that Paul would sweet talk his way back in with Victor. Michelle said they could then rope in Nicole and make it 4-2 against those two. James mentioned that Victor could easily go rogue and team up with Paul. Michelle said there is a 75% chance that the other side gets HoH and 100% chance that they get the care package if Victor leaves. James explained that the girls have a better shot at beating Corey and Nicole than at beating Victor. James said he needs to have a serious talk with Corey and Nicole. The girls said to bring them upstairs. James did so and then revealed that Victor is pitching to them that Paul has abandoned ship and therefore he will go after Paul if he stays. Nicole said Paul is going to act like he will work with her and Corey but they would be nuts to think that Victor would go after Paul. Michelle asked if Paul is trying to align with them. Corey said not really. Nicole said they didn’t question anything when the five were upstairs studying together, so there should be no trust issues at all. Natalie brought up that Victor said Corey, Nicole and Paul will come after them. Nicole said that’s a good strategy to say that but it’s not true. Michelle asked if they would nominate Paul. Nicole said she is going after Paul and she is getting frustrated that the plan is being thought of any other way. Victor then broke up the talk. Nicole told Corey it is not a good game move to turn on them. She said she is going after them so hard now and it’s game on. Nicole said she was sassy as crap since it seemed that they were threatening to vote Corey out. Nicole said she doesn’t like when anyone tries to threaten Corey’s game. Corey said James wouldn’t vote him out anyway. Nicole said James does what the girls want. Nicole told Corey that her feelings are hurt that they are being questioned.

11:00-12:00 AM: James joined them. He apologized. Nicole asked if he is coming to do damage control. Nicole said she is frustrated that they think she is not going after Paul now. James said he didn’t want to do that whole thing but Michelle is so paranoid right now. James assured Corey that he didn’t ever think about changing his vote. James told Nicole that Michelle wants her out. Nicole said she plays on emotion. Nicole claimed that she has done nothing to Michelle. Nicole said Michelle brings out the worst in her. She pointed out that Michelle slept for all but four hours over the past three days yet she managed to make everyone in the house angry.

12:00-1:00 AM: James told Michelle and Natalie that Corey and Nicole owe them safety this week. James said he will be talking to Victor tomorrow in order to let him know that he is voting him out. Natalie asked Michelle if she is fine with Victor leaving. Michelle said that she is.
