Big Brother 18 Day 69 - Corey is the replacement nominee

August 22, 2016

9:00-10:00 AM: Paul headed out to the backyard by himself. He spoke to the live feeders. He said he is pretty sure that the plan was to get either him or Victor out this week even though they are being told it was a mistake. Paul said it would not surprise him if Victor were to be evicted this week. Paul mentioned that Michelle is not the brightest bulb when it comes to playing the game, because she is likely going to nominate Nicole in his place. Paul thinks that Corey needs to go on the block and go home so that he does not receive a care package. Paul told the feeders that he needs a care package. He said he is pretty sure that James and Natalie will start making deals with Corey and Nicole. Paul pointed out that they swung and missed at him this week but he doesn’t know if they will miss again, so he is in trouble if he doesn’t get the care package.

10:00-11:00 AM: James joined Paul outside. Paul said he wonders what Michelle is going to do. James said he thinks that she will nominate Corey since she knows that everyone wants him to go on the block. Paul said it makes the most sense. Paul told James that the final care package will be the mother of all care packages. He thinks that Corey will receive it if he is on his own next week. Michelle spoke to James and asked him if he swears that he doesn’t have anything going on with Nicole. James said he swears and it was nothing like that. James was referring to Nicole saying that she would get him something if she wins. James said Nicole didn’t ask for a Final 4 or any deal. Michelle said she really wants Nicole out but she is willing to look past it for this week. She mentioned seeing Nicole sliding by in the game.

11:00-12:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Paul used the Power of Veto on himself. Michelle nominated Corey as the replacement nominee. Nicole told Corey that she already had a speech prepared and she got ready to be nominated. Corey said he knew that it would be him on the block. Paul told Victor that he doesn’t trust James at all. Victor said he will have a straightforward conversation with James, telling him that he wants to know if he is voting him out. Paul mentioned James saying things like “we should give the girls their space”. Paul suggested that James is the one instigating things. Up in the HoH room, Natalie told Michelle that they have to keep Nicole around for a while if they want to make it far. She said that Corey and Nicole are just chilling and doing nothing. Michelle said she wants Paul to go before Corey. Natalie said having Corey and Paul on the block next week would be the ideal situation. Michelle told Natalie she expects that someone will return on Thursday, then they will have a double eviction to go from seven to five. Natalie told Michelle that she is her number one along with James. Michelle said the same to Natalie. Natalie explained that they have to weaken Paul by taking Victor out. Both agreed that they would have wanted Paul to go this week. Outside, James told Nicole that Michelle asked about “that thing” again this morning, referring to Nicole saying that she would buy him something if she wins. Nicole said it’s not a big deal. She said that mentioned she would buy everyone something if she wins. Nicole said she has absolutely nothing to hide, because it was the most innocent conversation ever. She told James that she would not have brought it up in front of everyone if not.

12:00-1:00 PM: Paul asked Nicole if people really said that he is coming after her. Nicole swore to God that they did. Nicole said she heard that and then was like “game on, Paul”. Nicole assured Paul that she did not make anything up because that is not her strategy. Paul asked if she would believe him if he said he didn’t say that. Nicole said if he denies it then it was their strategy in trying to get her to target him. Paul said he was frustrated because he was called a liar or a manipulator. Nicole reiterated that she did not say those words. Paul said he didn’t make it up. Nicole told Paul that she doesn’t give a lot of people credit for being a manipulator, so she doesn’t think she would have used that word. Paul then asked when she was told that he is coming after her. Paul said he is trying to piece things together. Nicole said it was about a week ago but she has heard it more than once. Nicole told Paul that Paulie is one of the people who said it. Paul said that’s weird since Paulie told him to work with Corey and Nicole. Paul asked if she was told that again after Paulie left. Nicole confirmed that she was. Up in the HoH room, Michelle told Natalie that Paul is outside talking his head off to Corey and Nicole. Michelle thought that Paul may have told Nicole that she wanted her on the block and that’s why Nicole got herself ready for it. Michelle said she feels bad because Victor told her that he is scared. Natalie said they can still get Corey out if they want to. She said she cannot manipulate James but she can lay out what they want if they want to flip it. However, Natalie told Michelle that Nicole will not nominate her since she didn’t nominate Nicole. She added that Corey will not nominate Michelle either.

1:00-2:00 PM: Natalie told James that Paul was outside having a serious conversation with Corey and Nicole earlier. James said he is going to get Paul out. Natalie said Michelle is on board too. James pointed out that Paul is dangerous.

2:00-3:00 PM: Victor quickly checked in with James. Before he could ask him if they are still good for Thursday, Paul broke up the conversation. Victor later asked Paul why he came inside and did that. Paul said it might be a good thing since Victor shouldn’t campaign too much and look sketchy. Victor said he will hold back and wait for a couple of days before asking James again. They talked about it being better to sell James on the five as opposed to asking about his vote. Paul told Michelle that if they end up getting boned, it’s 50/50 as to whether or not they will get the care package. Paul said they will have to try to win. Victor said they will only have one person playing for HoH for them if he leaves this week. Paul said the five is the best thing ever, so he really hopes that they are just being paranoid.

3:00-4:00 PM: James told Natalie that Victor just spoke to him. Natalie said Paul and Victor are playing so hard. She said they need to chill out because they are ruining her HoH week. She told James that she cannot handle Paul anymore, because he is giving her anxiety. Natalie said she thought that being HoH would relieve her stress but it only increased it. Natalie said she believes that Paul told Nicole that Michelle wanted to put her up, based on how certain Nicole was that she would be going on the block. In actuality, James had told Corey and Nicole about it yesterday morning. James talked about how they have to get Victor out. He said he may have to blindside Paul. Natalie told him to blindside the both of them. Natalie said Paul is the next target and he cannot win the veto. James plans to nominate Corey and Paul if he wins. Outside, Nicole told Corey that he has the best social game ever and everyone loves him. Nicole said Corey will win 9-0 if he makes it to the end. Nicole said she couldn’t be happier for Corey since he has the best social game ever. She explained that they have both done the same things to Michelle yet Michelle hates her and loves Corey. Back up in the HoH room, Michelle cried to James and Natalie. She said she feels that Corey and Nicole are mad at her, putting her on the outs since James and Natalie have been talking to Corey and Nicole. Michelle asked what they talked to Corey and Nicole about. Natalie told her that they were talking about Paul. James assured Michelle that he will nominate Corey and Paul with Nicole as the replacement nominee. Michelle headed outside to talk to Corey and Nicole. Michelle asked Nicole why she thought she was going to go on the block. Nicole admitted she doesn’t think that Michelle likes her that much, so it was a personal thing. Michelle said she thought Nicole would be more likely to nominate her, but she doesn’t want Nicole thinking that she doesn’t like her. Michelle asked if Paul said anything about her wanting to nominate Nicole. Nicole said no.

4:00-5:00 PM: Michelle told Corey and Nicole that she is about 75% sure that Corey will be staying his week. Nicole asked why she thinks that. Michelle explained that she doesn’t have a vote but she assumes people will see Victor as the bigger threat. Michelle told Nicole that Paul said it would be hilarious if Paul left in seventh place again. Nicole said she brought that up yesterday to Corey, which she did. Nicole asked who wanted to get her and Corey out. Michelle revealed that all five of them had wanted to and wanted to get it down to the five of them. Nicole said she expected that. She assured Michelle that she will not be her target if she wins. Upstairs, James told Natalie that Victor knows his only hope is to get to him through Natalie. Natalie agreed. James asked if Natalie thinks that Victor would repay him if he saves him. Natalie said they would have to tell him the only way he can stay is if he sends Paul out next. James said Victor wont do that. Natalie said he has to go then. Back outside, Nicole told Corey that she would only be satisfied with Corey or James winning at this point. She said James is playing Derrick’s game and even has Natalie like Derrick had Victoria. As was the case with Derrick, she didn’t get how nobody has nominated James and how nobody gets mad at him.

5:00-6:00 PM: Nicole told Corey that they are mentally stronger than James and Natalie but those two will have the edge in endurance competitions if they get down to four together. Nicole told Corey that someone would be kind of crazy to take him to the Final 2. She said that she is probably the only one who would do it. Nicole said her dad would kill her if she did and would ask why she handed him the $500,000. Nicole asked if Corey would vote for her if she cut him. Corey said 100% no. He later said he was kidding and he would vote for her, though Nicole didn’t believe him. She said she would take him to the end anyway.

7:00-8:00 PM: Victor told Paul that Michelle put Corey up for a reason and she will let him know if there is something fishy going on. He said she knows that she is in a bad spot if he leaves. Paul said what bugs him is that Corey and Nicole are so calm and collected. Victor pointed out that they have each other. Paul said the two of them have each other and aren’t acting that way. Victor suggested that it’s different since those two are cuddling and his heart wont break if he leaves Paul. Victor said he can’t do anything but play nice now. Victor told Paul that he plans to have one last conversation with both Natalie and James come Wednesday. Victor said if James says anything other than that he will be keeping him, he will question why James didn’t just say it from the start. Victor said he will then tell James that it is too late to make amends with him. Victor mentioned that James is taking a big target out either way, and they have been working with James more so than Corey has been. Paul said they don’t know what deals James has with Corey. Victor said it’s not like they don’t have a deal with James. Paul explained that James might think it’s easier to beat Corey and Nicole than to beat the two of them. Victor said James may look at it as they can take a shot at Nicole for him, then both him and Natalie can play for HoH and take a shot at them the following week.

10:00-11:00 PM: Natalie told Nicole that the final straw with Paul was when he wanted to sabotage Corey and Nicole before the veto competition. Nicole said Paul tried to get information out of her today but she said things came from Paulie. Nicole told Natalie that Paul claimed he never wanted to come after her but everyone else wanted to. Natalie said she doesn’t trust Paul. She pointed out that he says he is not there to win, only to have fun, yet he was making her study for the veto competition and telling her that she has to use the veto on him. Natalie let Nicole know that Paul said Corey said something personal about her. She said it was something about her and James. Nicole said she doesn’t think that Corey has ever said anything like that because he is not that type.

11:00-12:00 AM: James spoke to Michelle and Natalie in the hot tub. James said he will tell Paul that he voted Victor out due to Paul playing both sides. Michelle and Natalie said that they feel bad for Victor. Michelle acknowledged that the move has to happen. She said that she will want nothing to do with Paul once Victor is gone. Natalie agreed. Michelle informed James that Victor plans to talk to him on Wednesday. James said that’s when he will let Victor know that he is voting him out. All three agreed that Victor doesn’t deserve to be blindsided. Paul came outside to look for a shirt of his that the diary room wanted him to wear in there. Michelle yelled at him from the hot tub that she is using the washer next. She then yelled twice to not touch her clothes. Michelle continued talking to James and Natalie. She said that she wants Nicole out if she wins HoH. James said they will get her out then. He said he could even nominate her next to Paul next week if he wins HoH. James then left to play pool with Paul who was heated about Michelle yelling at him for no reason. James encouraged Paul to talk to Michelle but he did not want to do it.

12:00-1:00 AM: Nicole pranked Corey and made a bit of a mess in the process. She also dropped Victor’s towel on the ground. Victor thanked her for doing it. Nicole replied by saying that there are new ones. Victor said that’s because he washed them. He thanked her again. Nicole said she is just having fun. Victor said she doesn’t have to mess up other people’s stuff in the process. Nicole reminded Victor that he is on the block. She said that she is voting him out anyway. Nicole told Victor not to yell at people for having fun. Not long after, Nicole apologized to Victor. She said that she will wash his towels. Victor said she doesn’t have to. After Nicole left, Victor told Paul that Nicole is disrespectful for doing that after he spent all day cleaning. Paul suggested that Victor drop it so that the others cannot use that as ammunition to get him out of the house. Victor said he let it go. Paul then started ranting about Michelle. He said she thinks that she can say whatever she wants about people without any repercussions. Paul explained that Michelle likes to talk crap about people and then cry about it to America to make it better. Victor told Paul that he doesn’t really even want to talk to James anymore. He said if their move is to get him out, then congrats to them. After a trip upstairs, Paul returned and continued talking about Michelle. He said the house is going to see what he is really like if someone nips at him once more. He told Victor that Michelle will break down and cry when she hears what he has to say about her. Paul said he will give Michelle a reality check on how to talk to somebody if that’s what she needs. Paul said Michelle thinks she is smart but she is actually one of the least intelligent people that he has met in his life. Paul let Victor know that he plans to do spin the bottle in order to decide nominations if he wins HoH. The two discussed that they are sick of the people in the house. Victor said he is optimistic that James is going to keep him at this point.
