BB17 Day 98 - Steve Wins Big Brother 17

The Big Brother season finale episode aired. Things kicked off with the conclusion of Part 1 of the Final HoH competition, as seen on the live feeds on Day 91. Vanessa won Part 1. In Part 2, Liz and Steve went head to head, with Steve coming out on top and earning his spot in Part 3 against Vanessa. In Part 3, Steve edged out Vanessa by one point. Steve was given the sole power to evict either Liz or Vanessa. Steve went on to evict Vanessa, meaning that he would face off against Liz in the Final 2.
When it came time for the jury to vote, the votes went as follows:
Shelli voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
Jackie voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
Becky voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
Meg voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
James voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
Julia voted for LIZ to win Big Brother 17.
Austin voted for LIZ to win Big Brother 17.
John voted for STEVE to win Big Brother 17.
Vanessa voted for Liz to win Big Brother 17.Steve won Big Brother 17 by a vote of 6-3, earning him the $500,000 grand prize. Liz won $50,000 as runner up.
Julie then revealed that the top three vote getters for America’s Favorite Houseguest were James, Jason and John. With the most votes, James won the $25,000 prize.
