BB17 Day 41

July 28, 2015

3:00-4:00 PM: Clay and Shelli chatted in the hammock. Clay said that he wants to know what Jackie and Vanessa were talking about all last night. Clay wondered if Vanessa would throw them under the bus to save herself. Shelli said probably, because anyone would likely do that. She clarified that she does think that Vanessa has their backs and she therefore trusts her, though later in the game she will look out for herself. Shelli was worried that Vanessa is forming relationships that she is not telling them about. Clay asked if Vanessa would deflect the target off of herself with Jackie and on to them. He figured that she would want to place some of the blame for this move on them. Shelli said that since she just nominated Jason last week, people will assume that she influenced this decision. Clay said that if people come after them they will nominate them both, since they wont risk letting them both stay by some chance. Clay figured that they would have a good chance of winning PoV during the double if they were both nominated. He also believed that Vanessa, Austin, Liz, Julia and John would use the PoV on them. Shelli wasn’t so sure about that.

Clay said that he thinks that Jackie is playing them and Vanessa as well. Shelli said that she totally is. Clay said that Vanessa told her that Jackie is good with all of them and she could have made a four person alliance with them on the spot. Shelli agreed that Jackie probably would have taken that and that’s why she is now concerned. Shelli said that it is tough to talk game with Jackie, since she doesn’t ever give up names or new thoughts. Clay said that Shelli should still talk to her and let her know that she has an understanding with Jackie that she will not put her up. Clay said that Jackie will assume by extension that she is good with him too, even though he would nominate her. Shelli was frustrated that she had the chance to fill Jackie in on the plan when she approached her before the veto ceremony, though she didn’t do it in order to protect Vanessa. She said that she wishes that she had told Jackie. Shelli said that she doesn’t know what people are talking about but she really believes that people are blaming her for Vanessa nominating Jason. Shelli told Clay that when Becky told her about her conversation with Jackie, it seemed as though Becky had implied that she would be okay with people targeting them during the double eviction.

Meg told Jackie that the way that conversations have been had with her, it makes her think that they are not wrong about Clay and Shelli being the ones running everything. Meg said that she has a gut feeling about it. Jackie said that they have been up in the HoH room for four straight weeks, so of course they are. Jackie told Meg that she talked to Vanessa a lot last night and Clay and Shelli were the ones that were questioning the group. Meg said that Shelli is very paranoid. Jackie said that Clay and Shelli had it so perfect but now they are done. Meg pointed out that those two are worried about the double eviction, cause that’s when it is going to happen. Meg wondered what Vanessa is thinking. Jackie said that she feels that Clay and Shelli convinced her that none of them will be on her side. Jackie and Meg agreed that Shelli needs to go before Clay. Meg said that she will go after them if she wins during the double eviction. Jackie said that they will need to nominate them both together. Meg said that she would rather lose the game than play it safe.

4:00-5:00 PM: Vanessa told Clay that she caught John and Meg whispering earlier today. Clay said that he wouldn’t worry about it, since John wouldn’t join that side. Clay asked why Jackie has been up in the HoH room so much. Vanessa said that she is keeping her stuff up there but they haven’t been talking game. Vanessa mentioned that Jackie did ask multiple times if she was safe with Clay and Shelli, so she reassured her of that. Vanessa figured that Jackie would go after Steve or the twins before she would come after them. Clay said that he wants to win this week in order to get Jackie out. Clay said that he is worried that Jackie would come after either of them or Shelli. Clay told Vanessa not to let her guard down around Jackie, since she is an emotional player and she will be out for revenge. Vanessa said that she is worried about letting Meg get too far, because she is going to float to the end if you let her get too far. Clay pointed out that it’s not the worst thing, since she is a good person for them to get to the end with. Vanessa told him that others will think the same way and will target them over Meg.

5:00-6:00 PM: Jackie told James, Jason and Meg that Shelli was freaking out when she got questioned about being on board with the plan, saying that she didn’t lie and that it wasn’t her place to tell anyone about it. Jackie said that Shelli pissed her off. Jason said that Jackie needs to win HoH for that reason, so that Shelli cannot come after her. Jackie said that Shelli better watch out. Meg wondered who they would have to nominate Shelli with in order to get her out. Jason figured that Austin, Liz or Vanessa would be good options in order to split the votes of that group. Meg said that it would have to be Liz. Meg said that she is going for the upcoming HoH to make a move. Meg considered nominating Shelli and Steve. Jason said that it wouldn’t be the worst pairing. He brought up that if you only nominate Shelli and not Clay, you are leaving the potential for him to win PoV and save them both. He said that it may be best to go back to classic Big Brother and nominate them both. Meg then said that she could nominate Austin and Steve, taking one of them down to nominate Shelli. Jason suggested leaving Austin on the block so that the twins would vote Shelli out.

7:00-8:00 PM: Meg told Jackie that what has gone on has made her want it so badly. Jackie said that they have to win HoH. Meg said that if they win HoH this week they will need five votes. Meg said that if Jackie is HoH and Austin and Shelli are on the block, the votes to evict Shelli would be her, James, Becky, Liz and Julia. She thought that they could get John on board too, though Jackie was concerned about how close John is too Clay. Jackie said that Clay and Shelli know that they are on to them now, so they are going to freak out and feel like they have to take them out. Meg said that they need to play it really cool with them. Jackie said that even if they are aligned with them, they will still try to take them out. Meg wondered who Liz would target if she won HoH. Jackie said that she would likely nominate her but she doesn’t know if she would be the target.

Shelli went up to the HoH room and told Vanessa that she feels as though everybody is blaming her for the decision to nominate Jason. Vanessa disagreed and said that if they are then it has nothing to do with anything that she has said, because she has told everyone that it was a house decision. Vanessa said that Jason told her that her and Shelli are running the house, so he may be assuming things. They then discussed Jackie. Vanessa said that she is their biggest concern but she believes that Jackie can be easily manipulated. Shelli asked if Vanessa is good with Jackie now, since she has been up in the HoH room a lot. Vanessa said that she is mainly up there because her stuff is in the room. Vanessa told Shelli that she only gives Jackie information that she already knows. She pointed out that there is not much that they can say to Jackie that will stop her from wanting to target them if she already does. Vanessa mentioned that she throws out mutual targets to Jackie, such as Austin, Liz, Julia and Steve. Vanessa thought that Jackie would be unlikely to win HoH, though they had options if she did. Vanessa told Shelli about Clay’s plan to tell Jackie that the twins are two votes that are against her, so they can deflect the target on to them. They discussed that Becky is in a great position. Shelli was concerned that Becky would not talk Jackie out of nominating them.

8:00-9:00 PM: Becky told Jason that Steve would be the perfect target for next week. She said that it wont get blood on your hands, you can get the numbers to take him out and you take a vote away from Clay and Shelli’s side. Becky didn’t want to make a big move prior to the double eviction. Jason agreed that it could be a good move but he told her that you would have to make sure that you don’t nominate him next to someone like a Meg, otherwise Steve wont go home. They discussed that the girls this season are very strong. Jason thinks that Julia is the weakest of the bunch. He said that it’s ironic that he begged for strong girls to be in the house and now one of them is getting him out of the house. Once Becky left, Jason was talking out loud to himself and said that he doesn’t understand why these people want to keep the fit girl in the house over him. He questioned how he is the bigger threat and asked if these people are delusional.

9:00-10:00 PM: Jackie told James that they need to do something and get more people on their side. James agreed. Jackie said that even if they wanted to work with Clay and Shelli, they are not going to want to work with them anymore. Jackie explained that Clay and Shelli will be afraid of them since they took a shot and know that they will no longer trust them. James said that they will probably have John throw the Battle of the Block next week. He told Jackie that he heard that John has been the comp thrower for Clay and Shelli, though he doesn’t know if it is true. Jason spoke to Jackie and said that he is trying to think of something that he can do, even though he knows that he is going home. Jackie said that Vanessa told Austin about the plan way too early, which is only one of the many things that went wrong this week. Jason said that Austin got a day and a half to save himself, while he got no time at all. Jackie said that Vanessa claims that it was a house decision but it was really an Austin and Liz thing. Jason said that it was Austin, Liz, the minion Steve and Clay and Shelli.

11:00-12:00 AM: Clay asked Steve for his thoughts on Becky. Steve said that he likes her and thinks that she is a good competitor. Clay asked Steve if he thinks that John would choose him over Becky. Steve said that he didn’t know. Clay asked if Steve felt that he would be John’s #1 if Becky was out of the picture. Steve still said that he didn’t know, because John may be developing relationships that he doesn’t know about. Clay pointed out that Becky and John could be considered a couple. Steve asked Clay if he is saying that they could be a target during the double eviction. Clay clarified that they wouldn’t be a target for them but they could be targeted. After Steve left, Clay asked Shelli who she would want to leave first between John and Steve. Shelli said Steve, which Clay agreed with. Shelli said that John is sitting pretty, just like Becky is, and is strong both physically and mentally. Clay felt that John and Becky could be the strongest couple in the house. Shelli agreed with him.

1:00-2:00 AM: The houseguests were informed that they would be on indoor lockdown at 6 AM in preparation for the HoH competition. Jason told Jackie, James and Meg that he is going to try to use that to his advantage. He planned to tell Clay and Shelli that the long lockdown is because it is an endurance competition, which he would do well in and he could keep them safe. Jason admitted that he doesn’t actually believe that it will be an endurance competition, but he just has to sell it that it is. Jackie said that she could be risking her game by saying this, but she told Jason that he is better for her game than Becky is and she wants him to stay. Jackie said that they need to get one pair on board, either Austin and Liz, Clay and Shelli, or John and Steve. Meg pointed out that Liz hates Jason, making that one unlikely. Meg also didn’t trust going to Steve with this. Jason agreed and thought that Clay and Shelli would be the best option.

Jason said that they need to make Clay and Shelli think that the whole is targeting them next week. Jason planned to tell them that Becky had said that she would target them during a double eviction. Jason told Meg that it would be helpful if she approaches Clay and Shelli. He said that they see her as their Victoria and they will not cut her regardless of what she says. Jason said that she needs to let them know that he will be as loyal to them as he is to Meg. Jason also wanted Meg to make it seem as though she has been controlling him all along and that he is her puppet. He figures that people have feared him because he is not being puppeted by anyone. Meg was concerned that this would all be a tough sell unless Clay and Shelli know that Jackie is loyal to them. Jason said that perhaps Meg could talk to them first, then Jackie can and then he can be the last to do it.

2:00-3:00 AM: Jackie told James that the others flipped this on them and now it’s their turn to flip it back. Jackie said that they are stronger and need to stand up for themselves and throw down. James told Jackie that the questions that she needs to think about answering are will Becky ever come after her and will she ever vote against her. Jackie said that she knows that and she does not want to ruin her game to save one person but she will be in on the plan if they can come up with something smart. Jackie then spoke to Meg and said that they will flip this house back and make a statement that they cannot be messed with. Jackie said that there was no takeover this week but they are going to takeover the house and this will be it. Meg questioned why Clay and Shelli would choose Becky over Jason. Jackie said that she is less of a threat and is not after them. Meg said that Jason was more loyal to them than Becky is. Jackie and Meg wanted to point out to Clay and Shelli that they had everything set up great with the alliance that they had created. Meg said that the only person that they have said that they trust is Vanessa, who was in on the group. Jackie said that that’s fine and they should have stuck to it.

4:00-5:00 AM: Meg spoke to Clay and said that she is stressing out. She said that everyone would put her up at this point. Meg said that she doesn’t understand what’s going on this week. Clay said that Vanessa must have got a promise from Austin and they promised not to send Becky home. Meg said that Vanessa promised the eight that they would be safe. Meg told Clay that it all went out the window when Jason went up, though Clay said that he cannot go back on his word with Becky. Clay said that Jackie would put him or Shelli up. Meg said no and that Jackie came to her and James tonight, trying to figure out what the problem was with the alliance that they made and is trying to put it back together. Meg assured Clay that Jackie would not come after them. She said that Becky is the most worrisome one on that side. Meg pointed out that Vanessa has no target after all of this and the house feels that Clay and Shelli are behind it. Clay said that when Jason’s name came up, he was pushing for Vanessa to put up Jackie but she did not want to go back on her word. Clay continued to say that he doesn’t want to go back on his word to Becky when he could have been in her spot. Meg felt that Jason is the one getting short end of it on this one and it’s not fair. Meg said that Clay and Shelli had her and Jason so much and now they are voting him out. Clay said that there would be too much mending to be done between Jason and Vanessa. Meg said that he is wrong and that Jason does not think that it was Vanessa, cause he blames Austin and Liz. Meg said that she wants to talk to Shelli. Clay encouraged her to, though he said that they would need Vanessa on board to change anything.

Meg went to Shelli and told her that she has concerns about the big picture and it is freaking her out that they are losing Jason. Meg said that she has no idea where Becky stands with anything and she can easily go with John and connect with Liz, Austin and Julia. Meg said that this all started when Jackie approached her tonight and tried to figure out why things fell apart with the eight. Meg told Shelli that Jackie wants to find a way to make this all work. Meg didn’t get why they are fighting for Becky to stay, over others in the Dark Moon alliance. Shelli said that she feels as though she was included because of Jackie. Shelli felt that alliances are created each week and it flip flops daily. She said that everyone was upset about Dark Moon falling apart but the only reason that it formed was because Vanessa is in power. Meg said that Jackie is against Liz and Austin, since it has come to light that it is not Clay and Shelli behind all of this. Meg told Shelli that Jackie is with her and Clay more than she is against them. Shelli felt that Jackie doesn’t even make eye contact with her anymore and does not talk game. Meg said that she doesn’t talk game in general. Shelli said that she sees Becky flying solo. Meg disagreed and said that she has John and could move in on the Austin and Liz side. Meg said that she feels good about Vanessa. Shelli questioned when the two of them got close. Meg said that they really bonded when they were together in the purple room. Shelli asked if Jason would really ride with them the whole way and not take a shot at them during a double. Meg said that she honestly thinks that Becky would do that, while Jason would be loyal. Shelli wanted to know who Jason had for numbers. Meg said that he has her, James and she has a gut feeling that he has Jackie. Shelli said that she is always open to considering the options. Meg said that they should be fine either way but Jason staying is more helpful.

5:00-6:00 AM: Shelli asked Clay what he thinks about Meg’s pitch. Clay said that he likes Meg and Jason but doesn’t like Jackie and James. Clay was concerned that that group of four would continue to be the most solid. He said that he believes that Jackie is after Vanessa no matter what she says. Clay said that he can’t ever see them working with Jackie. Shelli said that if Jason stays then Jackie is stronger. If he goes, Shelli said that Jackie and Becky may get closer. Clay said that she is definitely stronger with Jason. Shelli said that Becky would feel better about them than Jackie, though she has some concerns that Becky would put them up unless they build a strong bond with her. Shelli asked if they are going to talk to Vanessa about keeping Jason. Clay said that he doesn’t think that they can get Jason and Meg without bringing James and Jackie along, which is concerning. Clay said that they have a great shot at winning HoH if Jason is gone, and then he would take Jackie out. He felt that they would need to get closer to Becky in the meantime. Shelli said that if Jackie votes to keep Jason it will split her from Becky even more. Shelli said that the biggest thing is that if they kept Jason they could potentially lose John, who is on their side. She said that John is the reason that Becky has to stay. Clay agreed. They said that John would know that they were the ones that flipped if something happened. Clay said that they need to keep Meg in their circle even with Jason going. Shelli said that they need to play along that they are keeping Jason, so that Jackie votes Becky out and they get Becky more on their side. They discussed that Meg will be their next person under the two of them and Vanessa.
