BB17 Day 33 - Audrey skips the veto ceremony, gets nominated

July 20, 2015

10:00-11:00 AM: Jason told John that Audrey had a panic attack in Vanessa’s bed last night. He didn’t think that Vanessa let it impact her decision as to whether or not she should use the PoV. John agreed, since he thought that Vanessa would realize that she is putting herself in a really bad position for next week if she lets herself get swayed by Audrey. John asked who he thinks that Audrey will go up against. Jason said that he asked them to take him down because there is nothing that Audrey could use against John to get the votes. They discussed that Audrey had no need to play the type of game that she did. They figured that she could have made it to the Final 5 range simply by being everyone’s friend. Inside, Vanessa caught Shelli up on what happened with Audrey last night. Vanessa told her not to worry, as it is not making her change her mind about anything. Vanessa pointed out that it’s especially important to be kind to Audrey. Shelli agreed. They also agreed that it’s not even good for Audrey to be in the house due her current mental state. Vanessa felt that Audrey gets too wrapped up in the game. Expecting the veto ceremony to start, Vanessa went to John to tell him that she is going to use the PoV on Jason. She explained that even though she is closer to John, the safer move is for him to stay on the block. John said that he did not expect her to use the PoV on him anyway.

11:00-12:00 PM: Audrey entered the diary room, which seemed to put the veto ceremony on hold. Everyone was waiting around and getting ready for it to begin.

2:00-3:00 PM: With Audrey still in the diary room, the houseguests began to wonder whether or not she would return at all. Someone joked about there being a twist just prior to the veto ceremony. Meg said that she would be pissed off about that, while Jason said that he would be infuriated and so would everyone else. Austin asked Vanessa if she thinks that Liz will be in the house this week if Audrey walks and then someone else is evicted. Neither of them were sure what to think. Austin was upset that Audrey could be throwing everything off just because she did not want to stay an extra couple of days, though she had no problem sending others out. They discussed who they fear winning HoH next week. Both agreed that Jackie is the person that they do not want to win. Vanessa then spoke to Jason, saying that Audrey claimed to hear ringing in her ears last night and said that she was hallucinating. Vanessa pointed out that so much of the anxiety in the house has been due to one person. Jason said that the anxiety is still there, even though they decided to rid the house of it, because they are worried about Audrey on a different level at this point. Up in the HoH room, Shelli speculated that Audrey may have been part of a twist and she was forced to lie about things. She thought that Audrey may be trying to convince production to let her out herself in hope of staying in the game.

3:00-4:00 PM: Austin and John discussed the ramifications of leaving the house by choice. John said that you would lose your stipend. Austin said that you wouldn’t be allowed to come back to the finale either. Austin felt that Audrey was not thinking clearly, as she could do a lot of good things after the show if she just hangs in there. Austin then brought up that he has been having anxiety dreams about how he is trying to hang out with Liz after the show and Jeff wont leave her alone and is trying to hook up with her. John said that there are two of them, in reference to the twins. Austin told John that both of them hate Jeff and it became clear by the time that he left. John asked Austin if the one currently in the house (Julia) is the one that he likes. Austin said no. Meanwhile, Vanessa spoke to Jason and told him that if Audrey does indeed walk and they still do the veto ceremony, she will stick to her word and use the PoV on him.

4:00-5:00 PM: The houseguests continued to discuss Audrey and how she has yet to return. Austin suspected that she would not be returning. Around 4:15 PM, Audrey walked out of the diary room and headed straight to the have-not room and turned the lights off. Feeds went down for a bit. Vanessa went to Shelli and told her that she brought Audrey some water and Advil but she said that she does not need it because they already gave her some medication. Vanessa said that Audrey seemed very stable and was likely given something to relax her.

5:00-6:00 PM: The veto ceremony took place. Vanessa used the Power of Veto on Jason. Shelli nominated Audrey as the replacement nominee. Audrey did not attend the veto ceremony. She remained in her have-not room bed. Meg pointed out that she is going to have to do a speech on Thursday. Jason felt that it was a cop out to not show up since she was going on the block. He said that they will all have their time to be nominated. James and Jason agreed that it’s probably best for Audrey to be leaving on Thursday, since it seems as though she can’t handle it any longer after what happened last night.

6:00-7:00 PM: Clay told Shelli that Vanessa mentioned that they may need to nominate someone from their alliance in order to hide it. Shelli said that that makes her a bit nervous and suspicious. She told Clay that she will not feel comfortable working with Vanessa any longer if she is talking about nominating one of the two of them. She pointed out that Audrey has been saying that Vanessa is really close to Austin, so it’s concerning if she would not nominate him over them. Shelli said that it’s entirely possible that Vanessa has the same conversations with other people as she does with them. Both agreed that they will no longer be down with their Final 3 with Vanessa if she nominates one of them. Shelli also thought that it was suspicious that it’s the second week in a row that someone has been accusing Vanessa of something and she claims that it was the other person that did it. Shelli told Clay that Vanessa unnecessarily lied yesterday, telling the whole house that her original plan was to backdoor Audrey. Shelli paid attention during that lie and noticed that Vanessa said “umm” and paused a lot while lying, so she wants to keep an eye out for that in future talks. Liz switched places with Julia, returning for the first time since Friday. Austin caught her up on what has gone down since she left. Liz said that Julia will be back in time for the next HoH competition.

8:00-9:00 PM: Jason told Meg that the twins definitely switched today. Meg then told a story about walking in on Austin telling one twin about his date with the other. They agreed that Austin definitely knows about the twins 100% and is helping them. Jason pointed out that whenever there is a switch, they head out to the hammock together and Austin catches them up on everything that they missed. Meg said that she would prefer to have the twins enter than to have someone come back. Jason thought that it would be someone from jury that returns, so it could give them a second chance.

9:00-10:00 PM: Steve told Austin and Liz that Jason knows that the twins switched today. Steve said that Jason told him about it when Austin and Liz were on the hammock together. Steve believes that any attempt to cover it up at this point is a waste of time, since everybody knows about it. He told Liz that the only two people that are still having doubts about it are Jackie and James. Steve is still under the impression that the twins have to survive until the top ten in order for them both to enter the game, which is actually one week longer than they have to survive. The twins and their allies decided to come up with that lie a while ago in hope of buying them some extra time.

12:00-1:00 AM: Austin and Liz spent plenty of time on the hammock, talking over things that happened while she was gone and also discussing non-game related things. They eventually begun talking about letting other people in on the twins and leaking that they can enter in the top ten. John was mentioned as someone that they could speak to. The main name thrown around was Jason. Austin felt that he could approach Jason to tell him that the twins come in at top ten and he is scared that they will always choose each other, so he needs someone to work with them and eventually side with him to get them out down the line. Liz was fine with the idea. They talked about possibly doing this on Wednesday or Thursday, prior to the next HoH competition.

1:00-2:00 AM: Steve asked Jason if he thinks that there is any chance that what Audrey is doing is an indirect campaign. Jason said that he doesn’t think that it can be a campaign at this point. He pointed out that production would not have taken away the have-not rules for her if this was a game move. Austin then came by and asked what was going on. Jason said that he didn’t know but something is up or else they wouldn’t be letting Audrey eat pizza as a have-not. Becky, Jackie and Jason then spoke and discussed the deals that Vanessa has made with them. Becky said that she is making a lot of deals and it is a fast and messy way to play. Jason then told Becky and Jackie that the twins are 100% a confirmed thing and that Austin is helping them. He brought up how Meg walked in on Austin telling one about his date with the other. Jason said that he thinks that it’s best that the twins go while they are still a single person. Becky said that she would prefer they both come min than someone returns. Even when Jason mentioned a juror leaving, Becky said she would still prefer the twins unless she had already been evicted at that point. Jackie pointed out that the alternative is to send Austin home, since the twins would be lost without him. Jason thought that that was a good idea.
